Thanks for the video, although I have the Z254 Zero Turn mower I was able to diagnose my mower based on your video. Turns out that there is a factory design flaw for the wiring on the PTO clutch on the zero turn mowers as well. The belts wore through the feed wiring on my model as well, so I removed the PTO clutch, repaired the wiring, reinstalled the clutch and ran the wiring differently so that it would not wear on belt again. Thanks again for posting and helping with my problem.

Thanks for the video, I was cutting my grass a last week and all of a sudden my deck just cut off, I did some checking with the switch and nothing, I'm physically challenged and wasn't able to check the clutch, I have a friend that helps me when I need him, Turns out I had the exact problem, he was able to fix it and at the same time able to reroute the wires away from the belt.

Great job. Yeah the company running those wires don't understand building to last. One of the reasons I ended up trading that mower from a zero turn. Those mowers can end up requiring maintenance every week. I'm happy you're back up and running.

Thanks for posting. My mower is brand new, 6 hours 7k. I was going to take in and just let them fix it. But now I seen your video I'm going to hoist it up tractor forks and check all this out. If it's same as what you found I'm going to take in and demand a free repair and reroute of harness. This mower I purchased was a demo with 4 hours on clock. I traded old mower for 1k paid balance 6k cash.

Thanks for the video i have a zero turn z254 and its the same problem the factory zip ties it to the pull so it rubbes it to bare wire

Running into this problem! Saw the cut wires, didn't know what they went to. This coincided with me running over a rake, causing the blades to stop, and I couldn't get the PTO to TO again, so I thought it was something I would have to reset. Good to know it's just a wiring harness...

Yeah I had to restrip wires, wrap well, try and run wires in better location.... that mover gets stupid. I found a local company that had a trade in program. I'm now owner of Ariens 52 inch Apex. They gave me $600 for my previous mower.

My problem was a 20 amp fuse under hood blew. I never checked it because I thought it was for starter.

I found a local business that i was able to trade in my mower and get an Ariens 52in zero turn, it was a great move...

Yep, it was the bad clutch wiring that caused the problem.

Thanks so much for watching... I repaired my wires and electrical taped it. Later on, traded that mower in a 52-inch zero-turn Ariens. They gave me 800-900 for my trade, and after fixing that Husk every week, i was about to place it on the curb and say FREE..
