Except for Husqvarna of course producing bars in Sweden, Huskvarna. They started producing in USA for domestic use some years ago but im not sure what they produce there.

I’m guessing the Husky branded bar has more paint.

I wonder if the tips in the sugi and the husq bars are the same gauge. I just found out that can vary not long ago. That may explain an ounce difference.

There’s very likely an ounce of extra paint on the Husky bar, that’s it…

Paint. Paint makes a big difference.. and if they marked where it was made the cats kind of out of the bag so they leave that off.

How bout a bend test? Put each bar on blocks with a weight in the middle and measure the bend.

Well, it literally IS a Sugihara bar...so I would directly compare it to Sugihara, quality wise.

So which one is the best and lightest in 28 inch. Still looking for a new bar, that fits on my stihl ms441. In EU Husqvarna and Stihl dealers are still 40 years behind in selling new products.

Potato patoto. They are all good. Just get what looks best. If I ran Stihl, I'd get their lite weight bar. I think it looks great.

That's weird, isn't it? That they would use two different companies...wait-3! Oregon makes their standard bars over here. So that's 3 different bar companies that I know of. Seems like they would just stick with one. Let's blame it on Covid.
