I remember old videos where Sherpa would howl to random strangers, the one where he talked with a priest in a huge cathedral was embarrassing to Jaime but we all loved it.

Had to watch this video again. Today is the day our Sherpie passed and it was wonderful to see these 2 boys together one last time. So glad that they got to be together one last time before his passing. So many people have been blessed to see their friendship throughout the years. Thank you, Jodie and Jamie, for sharing this precious gift with the world. ❤ You have brought us so many smiles.

​@@HobbyOrganistno, you can't replace a pet. sure u can get another one but given them the same name does not make it less sad and dogs know the difference. I'm sure Key would like any dog but dogs know who their friends are.

I just realized that if Jamie were to come over again, Key would be looking for Sherpa. So sad.

Our scent changes as we near the end, Key could smell Sherpa and knows. Our pets communicate in ways we no longer understand, they, like all animals have kept their "sixth sense" which most of us have lost.

I think Key knew Sherpa was unwell, He could smell the changes. He was sniffing his behind quite a lot and being very very gentle even while being hyper and excitable.

You can see the genuine concern Key had for his bestie, knowing Sherpa wasn't 100%. Such a caring boy 😊

RIP Lord Sherpa..we will all miss the play dates and hanging out with Key , Jodi and Biscuit Lady. The arrival howls , the conversations and the play.

Shepa, will be missed and loved. Rest in peace. Sherpa is watching over his friends. Blessing to all his loving friends.

There is not a single doubt in my head that Key thoroughly understands every single word Jodie says. As a result, Key is one of the great orators of our time.

I don't think so, this was post surgery where he had majority of teeth taken out.

I'll never forget that same howl Sherpa would do every time he came to visit.

Yes the howl. I watched Sherpa's last few videos and hoped he would howl one more time. But alas it didn't happen. RIP Sherpa.

Wow! Key listened and was really gentle with the old man. What a good friend he is.

Two old friends reunited. It is a beautiful thing.

I love how Key asked Sherpa how he was. It was sweet how gentle Key was with him. They will always be best friends.

I’ve watched this a couple times now to better observe the interactions. Since dogs learn by sensory stimulation more than Jodi’s English, he probably knew more going on how Sherpa was recovering than his humans. Sherpa’s smell, body language told Key he needed to be gentle. But you can see the moment Key does the stunt roll for Sherpa he reacts with a doggy smile. It’s clear as a bell. He was cheered by Keys acts

So sorry about Sherpa, I watched him every day and felt like I knew him and you all for that matter. I cried during the whole last video, the pain couldn't have been any worse if he were my own; in a way he was. May God be with you all during the sad days ahead.
