Ойын-сауық

I have had this old 2100 husky for years and decided to clean it up and throw it in to the work saws

Talk about being outside..... I work in a plant doing maintenance on a daily. When I get home I'm dragging usually. Here lately I been helping a logger on the landing bucking logs all day. I have so much more energy when I get home after a day of doing that then my other job. It's crazy I tell ya. Anyhow Buckin, great video and I love the saws. All of em. You been putting up content like mad lately and I really appreciate it.

I’ve got a 2100 myself. It’s a beast but there are times it’s what you need to get the job done! Run it first and every other saw you have seems light and nimble!!

Hi Buckin. New subscriber here and have to say, love your channel. I am not your likely sub nor chainsaw junkie but I made the decision to get myself a CSM set up recently. The saw I ended up finding on OfferUp was a 2100 XP. I get my GSM this Friday and have a guy giving me a 12' x 40" maple to go at it with. I both nervous and super stoked. The saw runs ok I think but I want to bring it back to mint. I am in the process of taking it apart, cleaning and repainting it now. Then I want to get the parts that need it replaced and the engine running like it did when it was brand new. Better even. Any advice on sources for parts or any other thoughts on my project? I want this saw to be something I can be proud of but am finding myself surprisingly overwhelmed at all the things I don't know about chainsaws. And yes, I realize that this saw is probably above my skill set and that safety needs to be my paramount focus as I learn just how mean this saw can be. Anyones suggestions or thoughts would be most appreciated.

Always run boat gas and if you’re milling, go a little extra on the oil. Maybe 45/1. The boat gas is Ethanol free. Your chainsaw will be much happier. Don’t be afraid to over oil your chain. When I first start cutting I might pour a little oil on there just to get it wet before I make my cut. Especially with rotten wood. If you’re running a big saw with an aftermarket muffler, wear earmuffs over your earplugs!!!
