I think he is still in shock. And this interview is heartless in my opinion. How is it possible to call him when he just lost his wife. And the silly question about if he is angry, whao! Really? They could at least wait for him to burry her before they start this interview. Or did he reached out to them since they were only morning the super star man as if he was alone in the crash. I am sad about him dying so untimely don't get me wrong. However hearing the media talking about only him since the accident, and not much about the others made me sick to my stomach. Every human being is worth. Not only the rich and the famous. My condolences to all those who lost their loved one. Also those brave fire fighter volunteers who died in crash in Australia. They are international heroes.

This is not a competition. Kobe only got the attention, because he was so well known, and he could be easily identified. For the sake of keeping the family up in prayer ( prayer is powerful) I hope they do make their presence in the crash known. Those children need everybody's support and prayer. He needs to know that we are all willing to support his family in their time of tremendous grief. I certainly have been praying for them.

Marshall Carwood what is wrong with you. ‘us drunk drivers’ you are a terrible person. drunk driving is illegal for a reason. nz drink drivers (15-19 yrs) are 87 times more likely to crash than a sober adult (30yrs w/ 80mg blood-alcohol conc). you say good drivers but even those more experienced at 40 yrs are still 16 times more likely to crash than someone with no alcohol in them (www.oag.govt.nz/2013/drink-driving/appendix1.htm ) hmmmm i wonder why drink drivers have such a bad rap? is it the higher crash risk? surely not with these careful and considerate drivers who have full control over their cognitive ability and motor skills! being black doesnt impair cognitive thinking and motor skills whereas being drunk does. what an extremely stupid comparison and thing to say. i sincerely hope that you will learn that drunk driving is terrible and never drunk drive again for everyone’s safety.

I know everyone mourns differently but if my husband was killed in an awful plane crash with a celebrity or just in general, doing an interview would be the last thing I’d want to do. I wouldn’t want to leave my children’s side for ANYTHING . I have to realize this isn’t a dream, I am now a single parent to my children & they’d be MY ONLY, not some media interview I would want my privacy. This man is doing an interview putting his family’s name out there for millions in the world to see & hear, while Vanessa is thanking millions of people for all their prayers & support & also asking to PLEASE respect her & her family’s privacy so she can navigate where to go from here. Sad world we live in. I do pray for those poor kids I hope they can get some peace.

You need to understand how life works when you have a perfect life Financial Security you're never under any pressure by any systemic racism you're never under any pressure by any sort of homophobic things you're not under any emotional arrest because of how you look and then all of a sudden there is a tragedy in your life you will be crushed but that's part of life everybody's going to have a bad experience weather it be in the beginning of their life like some people in America from the moment they're in their mother's womb there is a plan to destroy them because of how they look to the person who has never had a bad experience until a certain time point in their life we are all human understand what I just wrote. One thing I will say nobody can relate to the pressures of a black man in America I'm Chinese and I truly believe the black man is definitely the strongest human on the planet.

If the whole sports world can reminisce about losing Kobe why can't this man speak on losing his wife and mother of his children. It seems like he just wants her legacy to carry on and for the world to remember that even though you don't know the other names doesn't mean the other people aren't just as important. Hearing Kobe Bryant, his daughter and 7 others died constantly must be hard. These people were more than just a part of Kobe's tragedy, they are their own people with families and lives that mattered.

It 's sad what has happened, and I am sad for all the family members left behind. However, (and I don't intend to sound hateful) but the 'world' is not hurting. Why, as americans, think that the world turns around us? We are such sport worshipers that we forget what the true values should be. Kobe was just an overpaid basketball player and a nice human being; but he didn't make extraordinary achievements to humanity and the world except entertain us with his amazing talent. Millions of people in the world are truly hurting from famine, natural disasters, and other more important issues.

Yes, it is sad that Kobe Byant and his daughter Gianna died in the crash, but so did 7 other people who mattered to a whole lot of other people in the world. They all touched people in unique ways all through there lives whether they were famous or not, whether they were 41, 56, or 13. And these were the other 7 who deserve mention just as much as Kobe & Gianna, baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife, Keri, and their basketball-playing daughter Alyssa; mother and daughter Sarah and Payton Chester; Mamba Academy basketball coach Christina Mauser; and pilot Ara Zobayan. And now scores of people are mourning Kobe and his daughter, while scores of people are mourning these 7. When you go to HEAVEN and you get your Angel Wings, I am sure there isn't a special section for the famous, they are all the same and GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. May they Rest In Peace!
