Lu’u is Phuc mother brother, when he went to Phuc and Sua wedding, he said my sister cooked the food. This people here are Phuc family they from far, I understood that it was Sua family. That’s why when Phuc was building his parent’s house, Lu’u never visited. Lu’u has been caring his grandparents. It is their culture to care for the elders. I don’t think it’s drama or fake. Linh and Nhu smiled after reading the letter. In my culture we also take care of our parents and grandparents. We don’t put them in Senior home’s. I have been watching from the first video Lu’u posted alone, then with Phuc, and now his wife. Don’t assume if you don’t know the culture.

Luu has to spend time away on other parts of the farm, fulfilling his duty to his parents, or working hard labor jobs to bring in an extra needed income. The videos do show a Vietnamese culture, but also a H'mong culture. Neither of which coincide with any developed country's ideals. Husbands have to fulfill duties other than directly to their wives. The Hmong wives especially have an ingrained will to work hard. This is the culture. Linh loves their farm and wants to do all she can on her part to make it a success. Even when Luu tries to get her to rest and relax she is determined. We should not judge another culture.

Я сама старуха 69 лет и дети всегда нам помогают, мы из Москвы уехали в деревню, в городе дышать не чем, да ещё кольцевая дорога рядом, так дети, и дрова рубят на зиму, у нас печь дровянная, а телег нужно четыре, зима холодная, фонарь очень хороший поставили возле дома, он 50тыс.стоит, крышу бани перекрывали, текла, да многое электроприборы, стиралка, а это всё деньги, не знаю как в других странах а у нас в России, всегда помощь от детей и он правильно помогает родителям, ведь поверьте мне старухе, силы уходят, тяжело даже кирпич поднять, кто моего возраста, меня поймут, всех обнимаю и целую❤
