What I learned from my last situation is that the life you created often only exists in your mind and they are just playing the part to get access to unearned resources. Almost like falling in luv with a mirage when you're emotionally dehydrated and reality inevitably wakes you up. If your heart and mind's in the right place, that experience should stabilize you from encountering bigger pitfalls
