Love how the bodies fly when you kill someone with the gnasher. I definitely miss that from gears 2.

I haven't even played gears 5. I played the beta or whatever they called it and they ruined my favorite game completely. I played the campaign for a couple hours and haven't touched it since. Glad i have ultimate and didn't pay for the game

Killing people with the shotty is the most satisfying out of all the gears games, they're body just goes flying to another planet

Honestly a Gears 2 UE with dedicated servers and some extra characters would be amazing I hope gears 5 is amazing

Definitely got more clunky with age but it's still a decent game with many good memories. Lag was always terrible though.

Gears 2 had the best mortar physics. Lobbing mortars on bridge was amazing!

I miss GOW 1,2,3 I like 4 but quite since 3. Going to come back today and get ready for gow5 blow out. But GOW had amazing SP.

GoW 2 is always a good watch.

No, the connection looks like it sucks. This doesn't happen often. Also, aim with your gun when you blindfire (up close) in Gears 2, not the middle of the screen.

Gears 2 is the best gears game no question. It has the best weapons and the best maps. Also the best weapon damage balance of any gears. What you call “sponging” or “shots not working” is just the fact you actually have to hit your target for the shots to work. The only problem with gears two is the lagg. This is the reason I really wanted them to remake for Xbox one. NOT REMASTER just remake.

And another thing! The art for the maps/characters looked way better than how the characters look now. Marcus,cole,dom,Baird,Tai look like giant bad ass MOFOS in kick ass armour in gears 2. Now they look like pussys in Tshirts.

The shotgun is so broken on this game, but 'Guardian' and the maps made amazing strategical matches...

This is the best GOW. Y'all aren't adjusting the way you shoot shotgun. Use center screen as soon as left trigger aim starts.

After getting used to Gears 3 for so long, it is hard playing Gears 1, 2, UE, and Part 4 specifically because of how slow the Sensitivity is. Gears 3 had best Sensitivity and I could pwn all day, now Gears 4 came out and I hate it. I’m not looking forward to Gears 5 a lot. I do go back to playing Gears 3 on my own but I put up with Gears 4 cuz my Squad is on that Game 95% of the time.

Yea theres an option to turn off blood but if you have it on and you are host it will splatter on your screen it is like a handicap since they have better connection than others GoW1 GoW2 look it up im not going to sit here and argue i have been playing since 06 see ya

Not as much dude. I would spend a lot of time hosting private lobbies with friends (usually having better connection than most) in gow 1 and 2. Definitely a noticable difference as opposed to times in matchmaking when i wasnt host. Gow2 had like 30 little telltale signs to know if you were host or not. U would say Gow1 is definitely where the host screen splatter handicap is more prevalent

The multiplayer is so unbalanced that any skilled player of GoW will lose 1v1 if the other person melees and then shoots (2 piece) that's fucking stupid and broken. You're dumb

The online for this game is so fucking bad. I know plenty will disagree, but this was definitely the worst and most inferior entry in the franchise for multiplayer. Gears 1 had speed and momentum without proper animation. That and lag. That in itself was also bad however still manageable gameplay that didn't turn off so many people as this entry did. Then again every game has had their short comings. This one isn't shy about how bad it is.
