Thanks for the GREAT review! I recently bought a HurryCane and I'm getting to like it a lot. The handle on mine is the shape of your Hugo example, and the cane is not a "break down" model. The instructions say that if you drop the cane, it's easy to pick up by using your foot on the cane's foot, and just slide sideways. This is a trick I used on my standard cane in the past, using the handle to slide and raise the cane. Thanks again!

I've had several Hurrycanes and each one has had issues with the handle becoming loose. And yes, I have stepped on the base several times especially in crowded areas and had the cane collapse. Maybe it's time to check into the Hugo.

I would love a review of the campbell walking cane. I have sciatica and herniated discs in lower back. I used a cane often. I'm 6'2" just looking for a better one than the VA gave me.

This is exactly what I was looking for! 😊 I was already leaning toward the Hugo cane, but now I know. Super unfortunately, there are none in stock. 😢 I'd like to see reviews on the super expensive, but ridicu~high quality Ergocane & Tucane by Ergoactives. I know they're not competing canes, I'm just very intrigued by them, I s'pose. 😅

What about the Bene Cane

You don't show that the Hurrycane breaks in two places for folding. This feature makes the folded cane small enough to fit into a bag or other small space. For me, that's a big advantage. And I've never had mine come apart if I (rarely) stepped on it.

Very Informative even though you didnt have the greatest background and presentation stage the words and honesty helped a ton. I was just about sold on the hurricane till you pointed out the tripping and snagging issue. Im not old but I have had a stroke and I have balance issues. I have bought the cheap Equate from wal mart which lasted but was uncomfortable and eventually the grip starting wearing and the number one complaint was the locking nut came lose and it rattled. I bought the Carex and its decent and very light weight but its too light weight... Its also black and I dont prefer black because I dont want it mistaken for a weapon. I was looking into the Vive which is more my style handle but the base of the cane has become an issue over time Im sick of it falling over it falls over in public it falls over in the house leaning it against the register during checkout sometimes it falls there with money in my hands I cant pick it up till Im done I also have issues with bending down so I have started to lean more towards a wider base and Heavier cane that wont blow around. The light weight is an issue a cane can be too light if theres wind. Ive already taken enough falls and so I was willing to spend good money on a reliable cane. After looking into the fashionable canes they are just that... Fashionable the ones rated five stars had reviews where their heads or heads broke off and the person was over seas when it occurred. Im not fond of the handle shape of hugo but it seems to be more stable with no risk of coming apart. I however am still looking at the Honeybull Cane which they say might replace the Hurricane.

The Hugo design is a type of cane that's called "offset". Here's a description I found ~ "The design of this walking cane ensures the user's weight is centered such that it bears mainly on the strongest part of the cane. The improved weight distribution results in more stability. It is suitable for those who need to put partial weight on their cane." Personally, I prefer it because it feels much sturdier.

No mention of warranty

Know this is old but in case it helps others doing reviews-don’t give product ratings as if they mean something. They don’t. “This cane got 4.6 stars.” By who? Using what criteria? A lot of reviews are purchased these days. There are services that sell them. So I don’t trust online reviews plus aren’t you suppose to be reviewing the product not regurgitating what other reviewers said? Also please set the canes for their proper height. You have yours set too short so it’s impossible to tell how the height should be set or what the cane is suppose to look like when in use.

My hurrycane does not pivot.
