I was 9 and in the hurricane michael area I seen all the damages and winds now im 14 and have to worry about it turning our way and have to re watch this :( I wish everyone prayers in hope we are all going to be okay please do evacuate even if you aren't in that spot right now doesn't mean it won't turn just be prepared I love you all💙💜 monday september 26th 2022

Flooded for a bit, I'm guessing the drains will have to finally be cleaned. Some reservoirs might flood, and many outside tables, signs, trees, etc. will be knocked over.

Desantis probably is regretting that he didn’t escape with those who were sent to MA.

Glad the migrants got out safely.

My parents moved to Hudson, FL in Pasco county in 1980, because of this, I’ve watched the movements of these hurricanes since then, and actually since the early 1960s as my grandparents moved to Ft.Lauderdale in the late 1950s. In 45 years, since a little before 1980, there has been no direct hit on the Greater Tampa Bay Area. Not like this, hurricanes always hit below Sarasota down towards Naples, or they came to further north towards Apalachicola and the bend. Take this one serious, folks, it make come inshore as a Cat 3 or even a 4.

Not diminishing the possible devastation, scientists and engineers should be working on ways to stop these in their track. I understand satellites can detect an eye forming when its about 1/4 of a mile across. Small enough to have one of the weaker walls blown apart with munitions or microwave technology. It's time we try to control this terrible life threatening hazard.

I've lived here my whole life, nearly 31 yrs, and never been hit bad. Always rode the storms out. . . . Irma was supposed to he like a 3 when it hit here but it hit here at like a 1....
