Big respect for immediately jumping to help others after assessing your damage. That really shows your true character. It does suck about the pole barn and the stacker, but considering what just happened, the stacker does still look pretty good. The biggest thing, though, is that you're all safe and sound, I'm genuinely glad to hear that.

Garrett, you're a true patriot my man. You access your damages and head right out to help others. I'm so glad everyone is ok and the damages to the freedom factory and shop were very minimal compared to other areas. Someone was definitely watching over you and obviously because you're such good people.

From Cape Coral here! We flooded alot but the water missed our house and buissness by less then a foot. Absolutely a miracle. All the costal towns around us aren't doing great. Glad to see your okay!

I have a vacation home on the Manatee River in Bradenton. No damage at all. Plus the storm sucked all the water out of Tampa Bay. So we didn’t have to worry about the river flooding. Sorry for the damage Cleetus. It’s strange how we are just a few miles away and got nothing, and you lost a whole building. It’s just crazy. I was back in Indiana, but seen pictures from Tampa Bay with no water. Very strange to see that much water disappear. It was still low tonight. All that water was sucked out, carried south and pushed up into Naples and Fort Myers I guess. So happy the crew was safe. The buildings can be replaced and fixed..

As someone that lived in the Caribbean for 15 years, I have to say, you definitely escaped rather well. Thank god the storm stayed mostly south of yall. Hurricanes are no joke. Once you've been through a Cat 5 the sound of that wind is something you can't ever forget. Staying in a basement, the sound is kinda like hearing never ending massive car accidents happening in your living room above you. The worst part is coming out to find your home is completely gone off the map. Glad yall are safe brutha! Nice of you to go offer help to the less fortunate.

Do you have any details on Sanibel damage, I've managed to find video of the Storm Surge at the intersection in front of Jerry's. We used to vacation there every year and one of my sisters took over the time share from my parents so she goes every year, i've got 2 other sisters in Jacksonville like you are, one has been reporting intermittent outages and lost internet but doing fine otherwise.

@@DanielRichards644 I spent vacations there in the old days when it was still pristine. The causeway bridge is destroyed and they are evacuating folks by air and boat. Many homes are destroyed, although we do not know how many died. The sheriff said they are expecting a high death toll all through the Ft. Myers area. All very sad.

@@docdurdin i've been hunting out videos since I first replied, from what I can see from the footage it looks like the bridge segments themselves are Standing but the connecting islands and a significant portion of the road leading to the bridge got wiped out and the sheriff has confirmed 2 deaths on the island, I think Ft. Myers Beach is far worse then Sanibel from the aerials i've found, word has it Mucky Duck might have been washed away in the storm surge but i've not found any video of that area yet and sounds like it could be weeks before we get details on what historic spots survived, they are saying it was far worse then Charlie.

I use to live in New Orleans, actually moved 3 weeks before Katrina hit. I had not moved most of my house so lost probably 70% of my stuff so it made moving easier as the storage container floated away somewhere.. I can tell you didn't get much sleep due to the storm and I can relate. The one thing I always tell my kids is when nature hits you hard just remember what we lost was just stuff. Peoples lives are priceless, are stuff not so much.

I’m to the North east of you guys here in Nova Scotia Canada, we just made it through hurricane Fiona up here so I feel what your going through. We were without power for 10 days and lots of downed trees and damages. Everyone ok tho which is all that matters. The bright spot in all of it is seeing how communities come together and help each other out ! Hell yea brother ! 🇨🇦

Garrett - your jet boats are well suited to get in & out of flooded area. if you go out on potential rescue missions, you could take battery-powered circ saws to cut into roofs from the top side, to allow folks trapped in attics to escape; take plenty of rope if you need to tow folks & bottled waters to help all to stay or get hydrated. good luck…there are plenty that need help & maybe many that can’t reach out for it.
