It really showed us who is boss here in Cape Breton. What a storm man, we are used to storms but this one really took the cake. We are gonna remember this for a long time. Inside my house sounded like I was in a vacuum or taking off on a plane.

Wow I was visiting there when it hit. We were lucky. No power and alot of trees down. I was sad that all the places I had just visited days ago went through such devastation. I'm glad your safe.

We are far away from the beach and still there were some falling trees in the neighborhood. Thankfully no one got hurt in New Brunswick! It was tough in New Labrador though.

Your friends here in Maine are thinking of you. I absolutely love Shediac as I honeymooned there. Hope to be back soon.

I can't believe more windows are not boarded up. In Florida, it's pretty much a done deal if we know one is coming. Most of the fallen trees have shallow root systems. I feel bad for them.

@@FastFordClub Well, hopefully your power will come back on and you all will be okay. Hurricanes are really unpredictable. You all also don't buy homes with storm shutters to put up. The fact that you are typing and on your computer is amazing. I actually watched Fiona live until 5 am. I felt bad because a couple people were asking how much longer in Glacier Bay and they were just getting started.
