Hurricane Chris on Killing Man in Self-Defense, Found Not Guilty of Murder (Full Interview)
Ойын-сауық
In this full-length interview, "A Bay Bay" rapper Hurricane Chris talks about beating a second-degree murder charge that resulted in the death of Danzeria O. Ferris Jr. at a Texaco gas station in Shreveport, Louisiana. Chris then spoke about speaking to people he knew at a gas station when someone tried breaking into his car. Chris explained that he had an AR-15 in the front seat, which he pointed at the other guy, who started threatening him, and Chris added that the guy started reaching into his pocket. From there, Vlad spoke to Chris about the case, which started with him addressing the 2020 incident. Vlad explained that Chris was in a car that he purchased for his girlfriend, but he added that she never drove it, and Chris stated that the girlfriend reported the car stolen after they had an argument stole and broke up.
Elsewhere, Hurricane Chris reacts to the memorial that was held in honor of Danzeria Ferris Jr. He explains that he was hurt because the local media painted him as a villain and the city officials whom he worked with in the past did not support him. He also talks about how the fatal shooting that changed his public perception had a negative effect on his acting career. Lastly, the 34-year-old rapper talks about resuming his rap career and fatherhood and filing a lawsuit because his murder case wasn't properly investigated.

You can see the hurt in his eyes. He didn’t wanna hurt nobody but was in fear for his life. Godbless him & I hope he can find some peace with this situation
i feel sorry for the mother that lost her child, i hope she can understand that her son was breaking into cars, and god knows what else he was doing. that it’s her son fault for losing his life and that she can forgive chris. and i also hope chris moves out that state and file a lawsuit against the state, the city, the police department, and whoever else is involved. we need justice for chris. 💪🏾
The scary part is, if this took place with no witnesses and just the camera footage, I’m certain he would of gotten cooked
I admire how well Chris presents himself and speaks eloquently and directly. He was obviously weird correctly which is exemplified by his overall life disposition. I'm glad that he made it out of this without prison time. I put it out in the universe that he is relieved of his mental and emotional anguish.
They need to vote to get that DA out ASAP! This needs more coverage.
Great interview with an intelligent, interesting guest. The mutual respect was noticed. 🤝
You’re blessed. I’m so grateful that he made it to the other side of this. I absolutely love the way you presented yourself. Great interview.
Thank you lord for my boy hurricane for being not found guilty i been a fan since day 1 keep doin yo thin bro A bay bay
"It was like they came to see a lynching" damn straight. The system is sick and demented
Great interview Chris spoke his truth and glad Justice was in his favor he was put in a bad position and it’s unfortunate what happened but his life was threatened and he defended himself after several warnings but my condolences to the family
Imagine 12 people deciding whether you will spend most of you're life in a small, smelly, damp prison cell, and all that you have taken for granted all you're life suddenly taken away or they decide you will walk away a free man and going back to the life you have always known and love.

Yeah I been in that situation more then once, not a good feeling especially when you facing life, and 25yrs another time, I finally got tired of that shit and started doing right, then years later I was shot 5 times was in a coma for a month and woke up paralyzed from the waist down, shit not worth it

@@jamardns77 yup and ontop of that you have lawyers and judges telling you what you can or cannot say to defend your self if you take the stand. Doing jury duty was depressing. By the end of it all I could think to myself is I just pray I’m never on the opposite side of a jury. Majority of people truly don’t care that much when it’s not their own life or freedom on the line. Ppl were making up and assuming all kinds of things instead of looking at what’s presented as they’re instructed. It’s also very confusing to try and understand laws when they were just explained to you for the first time. Legal language is intentionally hard for someone who isn’t knowledgeable to decipher.
Love this interview and love you chris. 💪🏽 I'm a bit older then him but i use to listen to him as a youngin back with hey bay bay. Real humble and respectful man. Being truthful and doing the right thing almost always get you further in life fosho. 💯
im a real street dude ,dont like to call myself a fan, but lol this my favorite vlad interview , because of how chris represents our culture!!
Love how remorseful he is 🥺🥺 Glad he beat it! God bless
Saw Chris perform when I was in middle school. Good memories.
The police officers should have been fired!
I love the fact of how humble Chris is if this was any other artist today they would be on here bragging talking shit to the family and dragging the deceaseds name through the mud but he doesn’t do that he even sends his condolences to the deceaseds family great guy amazing character it speaks volumes about him as a person glad this was the outcome of his situation
RIP to the guy who died, but it's good he got off with self defense.

He is well spoken great man. Protect yourself at all cost
Great interview
Crazy how police just automatically resort to treating people convicts.
It looks like the chairs for this interview should be a bit more comfortable.

Shout out to Vee-Lad. Happy 50th Birthday at some point this year. I give you a hard time about cutting people off during interviews but your platform cannot be denied. Best...
This guy was smart enough not to dance on the person he shot's grave. He showed respect to the victim's family. If Savage had acted this way he may still be alive.

I feel bad af for bro rt you can tell he effected massively from not only the situation, but from being arrested and treated like a criminal while still in shock of what happened
I love the first thing he said was god is good

Think bout all the dudes in ur situation who everyone knows he innocent but the da still charged and they still convicted a innocent person. The foul shit is the attorneys can prosecute anyone for anything wit no repercussions do their actions when they knowingly convict innocent ppl

Chris a real humble dude frfr .. glad he's living his life 💯
It's crazy how spightfull women can be.i hope she is ashamed of herself.
Everyone go run up his banger "Lit" it really is lit! ❤ fan since aye bay bay.
That's crazy his ex even went against him and wasn't even there what a jezebel...
I think when the law should be all the money he spent on lawyers etc should be reimbursed. ..plus money 4 pain n suffering. N time wasted.
The officers should lose their job for not stating that the man went into his car Illegally and had a weapon in his pocket. Smfh
Shreveport, ratchet city, 51/50… you need to stand up! This is one of the people that represent caddo Parish, Shreveport, Louisiana… there’s a lot of icons that come out of Shreveport that don’t acknowledge this city… big ups to you hurricane, I was there when we filmed aye bay bay at that county market😂😂😂😂 big ups to you and may the most High continue to guide you on your journey 🙏🙏🙏
I remember hurricane Chris. Good interview
Great interview and I hope he drain the police department
So glad the truth came out!
It was so obvious it was self defense, never should of been put in cuffs
Damn it's been a min.
People have to understand the law and gun rights. It's not about what makes sense or what's wrong or right for you.
It’s unfortunate btb wasn’t as sensitive to the power of the words he says like this guy glad he made it out ok and beat the case
Who else instantly thought about crunchy black when he said Glad?
You can tell he learned slot during this process he remind me of a younger Boosie
Way different approach than btb savage. You can talk about these things without boasting
Hope chris win that lawsuit 💯
I always told my stepsons to leave those guns at home. Did they listen? No!! Did they end up in prison? Yes!! What did they go to prison about? Guns!!!
C said he gonna keep it all the way G but when vlad said that deebo comment he wasn’t feeling it, said it was like “a deebo type of thing “ 😂🤦♂️
God Bless my Brother. HC from 1 Boot Brother 2 Another. Now we need ah Playas Rock 2. I'm down
Did he get his half of million dollar bail back?
See his point view
Vlad get Hurricane Chris in rotation like Boosie!
This world is so evil. The man who died was a wannabe street thug and they always have a bad ending.
I hope he sues the shit out of the system
Good shit Vladtv
This what I called a stand up guy, someone who was raised right, and the guy that life ended his mother should’ve raised a better man than blame someone for his wrong doing…

They trying to give this man 40 years and he not 40 his damn self
Chris and Snoop should do a ''Murda was the case'' remix.
Concrete block was probably to brake car windows mane
Bless u hurricane chris. Rip to the victim but bless u chris. U did everything right and they still tried to fuck ya. Im so glad to see u come out the other side of this thing on the rite side. The truth ultimately prevailed or u wouldnt have made it out like u did
Self defense is not selfish, Chris. U got the right to fight for your life
If you not from the city you wouldn’t know his mom a lawyer so you better know he knows the law and that Texaco is a hood spot In between Hollywood and mo town
Just the title of this interview alone tells you everything you need to know about Vlad. Murder, crimes, and doing time. Anything beyond that, especially on a positive note, gets edited out‼️🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
