Prince Solomon, with his closest man, Ibrahim Pargam Ibrahim receives the bad news in a hunt. His father Yavuz Sultan Selim Khan passed away. Prince Suleyman sets out for Istanbul without waiting. Prince Süleyman quickly reaches the capital. He attends the culus ceremony without waiting. His life changed in one day. He started his life as Sultan Süleyman.
Meanwhile, a galley loaded with slaves coming over the Black Sea is heading towards Istanbul. The hottest of the slaves is not yet aware that he is on a journey that will change his destiny. He is rebelling helplessly to return.
Sultan Süleyman wants to show what kind of sultan he is by the commands he gave on the first day of his sultanate. But not everyone will like these decisions. Sultan Süleyman does not hesitate to challenge all of Europe with the messages he sends.
Alex, despite all his rebellion, is brought to the Topkapi palace. His attitude attracted the attention of Valide Sultan from the first moment. But it won't be long before Alex learns the rules of the palace. He chooses a great target. Alex, Sultan Suleyman's first night on the way to attract his attention. Sultan Suleiman's wife Mahidevran just arrived from the palace of Manisa. He is looking forward to seeing his wife.
Şehzade Süleyman, en yakın adamı Pargalı İbrahim ile birlikte çıktığı bir avda alır kötü haberi. Babası Yavuz Sultan Selim Han vefat etmiştir. Şehzade Süleyman hiç beklemeden, İstanbul’a doğru yola çıkar. Şehzade Süleyman hızla payitahta ulaşır. Hiç beklemeden cülus törenine katılır. Bir günde hayatı değişmiş. Sultan Süleyman olarak padişahlık hayatına başlamıştır.
Bu sırada, Karadeniz üzerinden içi köle yüklü bir kadırga, İstanbul’a doğru gelmektedir. Kölelerden en ateşli olanı ise, kaderini değiştirecek olan yolculuğa çıktığının henüz farkında değildir. Geri dönmek için çaresiz bir şekilde isyan etmektedir.
Sultan Süleyman, padişahlığının ilk gününde verdiği buyruklarla nasıl bir padişah olduğunu göstermek ister. Ama bu kararlar herkesin hoşuna gitmeyecektir. Sultan Süleyman ise gönderdiği mesajlarla, tüm Avrupa’ya meydan okumaktan çekinmez.
Alex, tüm isyankarlığına rağmen, Topkapı sarayına getirilir. Onun bu tavrı ilk andan itibaren Valide Sultan’ın dikkatini çeker. Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Kendisine büyük bir hedef seçer. Alex, Sultan Süleyman’ın karşısına çıktığı ilk gecede onun ilgisini çekmeyi başarır. Sultan Süleyman’ın eşi Mahidevran ise Manisa sarayından yeni gelmiş. Eşi ile görüşmeyi sabırsızlıkla beklemektedir.

Imagine your family and everyone you loved being taken away from you. All your hopes and dreams being destroyed in a blink of an eye... Imagine coming to another country where no one considers your life meaningful, being a slave to a dinasty that treats you like trash... but the worst thing is that she couldn't talk about it. To anyone. Not even sultan. Because she was always guilty. No matter what she did, they just wanted her to suffer. I can't even imagine what she went through. Such a strong character.

@@annstillwell730 except the show isn’t entirely fictional…. It’s based VERY loosely on Suleiman rule and Hurrem’s life….. But you know that of course 🙂

Words cannot describe how good of an actress Meryem is. This video is an example. She portrays choking so realistically and then her crying.
It was such a shock to her sences, she needed time to regather herself. Then Hatice comes to see if she's ok & starts questioning her, she is quick in responding as to not bring any suspicion upon herself. Then Mahidervran the snake sneeks to the door to try to gather any crumbs she can use against Hurrem. Hurrem was right to send them both away so she could try to shake off the shock. She's a strong woman!
As soon as he saw Hurrem was with the Sultan he should have ignored her.

She should have said he´s her brother. Thanks to Suleiman´s love for Hurrem he would have got a high place in palace.
If Hurrem had let on right then and there that she knew Leo and told Suleiman the truth, I’m almost certain it would have turned out very differently. He probably would have tested her loyalty, but I doubt he would have accused her of betrayal. The kicker is that Mahidevran and Ibrahim Pasha would have swooped down like vultures and used it to attack her.

Yeah that Tom and Jerry ..ibrahim and mahiwitch keep dragging Innocent Hurrem..ibrahim killed Leo innocent later he paid that price..and some of comments are hurt because ibrahim died..🤣
And I can't believe how could they accuse her for she turned against Suleyman that she cheated on him Hurrem and Leo knew each other from time she was still a little girl not knowing and obviously not hoping that she would be taken as a slave and then sold to the palace. And yes they were together and but that was before she even knew for Suleyman so how is that cheating? And she tried from day 1 to bring back Leo because she despite she loved Suleyman she didn't want Leo to be executed just because he love her and she knew he would be in that case I mean he died anyway. So I don't understand how they even get to accuse her for cheating on Suleyman
Suleiman is famous character in ottomans for his wars and several strategies. This entire series is spun on falsities and concoctions

@Meltem Oli in the begging she wanted to die. In first day she saw her parents and they told her to live, so she literally started fighting for her life. She wanted to use Suleiman as a shield, because who could protect her? And people need to feel safe with someone, so I think she clearly had a stockholm syndrome.
