Not saying Europe shouldnt be doing better with this team, they absolutely should, but the Top 5 players in the world right now are European and none of them are here.

I don't understand what happened. I think the matchup this year was the most exciting it has ever been. Even if they don't have the top 5 european players, I still feel like this should be a way tighter edition than previous years.

I think FAA has beat the top players at least once except for Mevedev. He has beat Roger, Rafa, he beat Novak in the 2022 Laver Cup, Carlos, Runlev, Rune, Casper, Andy, De Mineur, Thiem, Berettini, not Zerev? My point is the big three would have surely given them a run and perhaps beat them and perhaps not. Tournaments are taken at face value. Perhaps because so many black players are winning in 2023? I thought we saw some brilliant tennis and the reaction of the crowd tells me the loved it/ Especially the doubles. Lot of poor losers on social media!

Perhaps McEnroe could be FAA coach. Toni Nadal has done great things for FAA, but Felix has come alive in this tournament. Be interesting to see what a fresh coaching perspective could do to amp up FAA career.
