When TNN Outdoors came to life in 1993 it created a monster out of a 9 year old little boy. Cartoon days were over and replaced with Bill Jordan and David Blanton chasing game all over the world. Just good ol country boys living life and making a living doing what they love. The evolution of the hunting industry has come so far since those days and with you tube I feel as though it has hit its peak because of the old souls like Bill and David. Thanks for all the wonderful stories and memories you all have brought to the world. If you ever want to come to Franklin County Va to hunt I have all the amenities and you guys are welcome in my neck of the woods anytime. The memories and friendships gained by your trip will be cherished and will be far from a “Hunt From Hell.”

lol I was born in 85. Loved watching these guys but I think my favorite was “buckmasters” I even remember when they started showing the kill shots on tv. For the longest they would turn the camera before hand

This is awesome! Love stories like these. I remember hunting south Texas in 1989 just before Christmas and it got down to 13 degrees. Coldest I’ve ever been in a deer stand.

I was gonna say there's no way you TV guys have had any "hell" hunts.... but the kidnapper boyfriend outfitter story is pretty damn good 😂. First story reminds me of driving 6 hours to my opening day of rifle season spot, only to see the entire forest had been clear cut months before due to a tree fungus they were trying to stop from spreading. Talk about a bad bad morning.

I saw Whitetails in the wild playing (VHS) in my local sporting goods store-I was instantly hooked!!! I bought a Bow and started bow hunting!!! I was 22,and the year was 1992….I didn’t have anyone to teach me how to hunt deer..I learned from the Realtree team…LOVE these guys!!!

I grew up watching Buckmasters on TNN, David's genuine personality and how excited he got when he killed a deer was infectious. In my eyes, he's a true embasador for hunting. I'm in my 40s now but that little kid still comes alive. Love listening.

His stories are hilarious. David seems like a good guy. I also caught where he said he hunted 12 days before seeing a shooter buck and thats real hunting. These guys have lost touch with the average hunter. They have guides do their work for them and put them in the best position to see and kill something nice. And there is nothing wrong with that and am happy for him. But most people i know may see one shooter in an entire hunting season and sometimes don't see one at all.

I think I hunted behind bill in like 94 in Alberta? With Terry and Dave. Anyway poop show from jump and I get yanked out of a tree one day To the last day locals shooting at each of over some big deer and thinking I was involved. Now we get stuck in a snow Strom in Minneapolis and spend 2 or 3 days in a hotel from the storm. I get back home and instantly lose my job get laid off cause they did not believe me. Best thing that ever happened to me.

That man thinks he had it bad because he hunted 12 days without seeing a shooter buck lol. I have been 15 years without seeing a live buck over 14 inches wide, and I hunt about 4 days a week during a 3 month deer season!

I’m glad to see the pros have nightmare hunts also. Nothing worse than getting fleeced by an outfitter. I encourage everyone to actually check references!!! All of them. Not just the good ones. If they won’t give you any to call. HARD PASS.
