Home school. Check with Calvary Chapel Pacific Coast. Huge Home School group uses their building. Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa has a good school as well as Shoreline Baptist in Fountain Valley.

wow , things sure have changed, When I was in Catholic school the culture was very patriotic. Then again, that was a while ago.

The school did the family a favor. If they are uncomfortable with patriotism, what ideas are they "comfortable" with? Better the family should exit than to have their children indoctrinated in values that may not align with their own. And the school does not have to be "bothered" by patriotism.

This country did and still gives opportunities. We are concentrating on differences instead of common goals for the nation.

This is great. How should we educate our children to be good, honest, hard working, patriot Americans? When we teach our sons to respect women, what do we tell them when we have a former president who said he treats women like a piece of meat and he can do whatever he wants with them? What do we tell our daughters when we have a former president bragging about doing whatever he wants without consequence. I guess we tell our sons, "that's just locke room talk" and our daughters not to worry because "they are not his type". How do we teach our kids patriotism when we have a former president who disrespected the peaceful transfer of power when they lost an election. How do we teach patriotism when we have a former president who advocated the storming of the capitol, hired fake electors, and asked the governor to just steal the election for him? How do we teach our kids patriotism when we have a former president who worked with Russia to discredit Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Biden in 2020 until today? A former president who said he believed Putin over our own government's intelligence agencies? I can fully understand why the school would not allow this anti-American fake patriotism into their school. Trump has destroyed the GOP and he tried to destroy our democracy. Thank God true patriots like Mike Pence and Joe Biden would not allow trump to steal the election. Trump is not a patriot, he is in it for himself, not the country.
