Excellent video! Thanks for sharing it. A Sako black bear in .30-06 with a Zeiss scope is as good as it gets for a borrowed rifle. Great footage and story not to mention the shooting. Greetings form the upper midwest state of Minnesota USA. Where our deer heard is in decline because of previous severe winters and a unregulated large Timber Wolf population. I've seen 3 deer in the last 12 months. Glad that to see wildlife management works in some countries.

Great video and footage of Red deer cull, unfortunate the fact is that if the number of deer goes too high in a certain aria then all deer will suffer for the lack of food.Great video and greetings from NZ, Tony.

I saw a few getting upset about last weeks snippet of this episode regarding shooting the hinds first before the calves. the truth of the matter is an average hind in our country Is about 70 kilos, 90kg Is devon-ish population, and highland hinds might be even lower, but lets stick with that average of 70. Over here there 'calves' are hitting the same weight as our adult mature hinds, well into the 70kg range when our calves can be as little as 30 sometimes smaller by this point and time there already on there way to being weaned and very much dependant. Reds in the winter arent solitary animals they'll have other deer they'll group up with to survive the winter alongside.
