I love the look of a knuckle head engine. Big ass bolts shining in the light.

Do you have a preference for the long, or short rocker? Why?

How do you combine the accelerator with the left hand timing when you are riding. If the left hand is not in sync with the accelerator it could be a pain i the ass. Do you just leave it along and just play with the accelerator once is idle and running.

Once it's started, you simply keep the timing full advance

@@HuntingHarleys it takes for ever to get going. How do you manage to get enough momentum for 2nd gear.

These are 80 year old motorcycles, don't compare to a new machine

It took me a bit to learn how to change gears like that. Front and back. I started out with the single front gear change peg. Now I have one with the front and back. I am good at it now, it took me a few months using it. I hate the took the kick starters of the new bikes.

and this is something completely different from that. this is a rocker clutch. where you pull with your hand on your bike, it’s with the feet on this bike.

The '41 may have been painted instead of chrome on account of the war.

That myth happened after Vietnam. Prior to that, especially during WWII, it was a patriotic color

It would be a simple thing with that corrugated roof to put in a basic fan system that would exhaust the heat and pull cooler air in from your garage doors

we have large industrial fans to do that. prior to that the temps would get 115 plus!

Do those fans actually exhaust the air from the building or just moving air around?

a bit of both. With the doors open, they push the hot air out the doors from the top. I'm screwed with the doors shut though. They drop the temperature about 15 degree's with the doors open on hot days. The end of problem is at hand though. I have rented the space next to me, double the space at close to the same money
