    Hi Keith, I have been a fan since the chevy sportsman on sunday. Through the years I have watched as you introduced your daughter to share your passion. Now with hidden springs ranch you have taken to creating your own deer. Just awesome!!! And brings me to my point, my wife and I picked up a 88 acer farm 60% overgrown fields 40% 200 year old timber. Huge white oak as well as brushy draws and beedding areas. My question is the cost of getting started raising deer. I have hunted my entire life. I have always enjoyed driving around evenings spotting big bucks. Much respect to you Keith I feel like you are a true conservationists in every way.

    I'm not saying hunting is bad or bla bla bla, but it's such a strange way of appreciating nature and animals. I think they're more easy to appreciate when they're alive. Can you hunters explain me what's wrong in my ignorant thought? I really dont know anything about hunting :D

  • @keithdocreed

    @keithdocreed

    The reason for hunting is even the bible talks about split hoofed and are to be eaten. But with out hunters the population would soon run out of food and inbreading becomes a problem that causes diseases. But with conservation minded hunters the deer are at perfect numbers accrossed the u.s. But yes they are beautiful to see. But it takes hunters to keep the balance.

    Hunting has. Been around ever since the concept of death was invented. After Adam and Eve ate the apple God made clothes from animal pelts for them. Without hunting we would have car accidents involving wildlife a lot more often. Diseases would spread and we would no longer have any animals to eat or hunt. Farming animals is also bad due to deforestation. We cut down forest to make grazing grounds. Hunting helps balance the ecosystem.
