I really watch these videos and I honestly think most the time hunters from USA do the worst job. I mean there is good hunters from USA but the majority just seem so eager to shoot they take bad shots.

Love it how people disagree with hunting then STILL watch a hunting video and criticize it of "omg how cruel" etc etc. Stuffing your face with your KFC / MCdonalds burger is even more cruel. The animals used for them were most probably spent their lives stuffed in a cage and then inhumanly slaughtered so that you could have your burger. Yes the pictures get taken with the animal as the trophy kill, then generally the bodies will be taken away by the game farm owner then processed and sold to the public. Not like the animals are running around freely in cities and shit ..

+Audgusto Flores If you want to hunt the big 5 in the wild and do it properly, not in game farms then you will need to have $350,000 to $500,000 Also you wont do it in the 1 trip, you will need to make at least a few trips if you do it in wild Africa. If you do it on a game farm then you can shoot all 5 trophies within 5 to 7 days, but thats NOT hunting. To do a African Big 5 properly, it MUST be done in total wilderness, otherwise its NOT hunting. Best African countries to hunt your Lion, Leopard & Buffalo is in Tanzania. Your Elephant in Zimbabwe or Botswana. Lastly your Rhino in South Africa. It's a achievement of a lifetime and will take several trips to complete unless your willing to live there for a few months and do it that way.

  • @mrwth7489

    8 жыл бұрын

+Monolith Gamma I wrote this all out yesterday along with links so you and others could see for themselves, it doesn't seem to be on here now for what ever reason. However to answer your question, Yes Rhino are allowed to be hunted. I believe the quota for White Rhino's each year is between 10 to 20 that can be hunted annually. However the Black Rhino which is critically endangered, between 1 to 4 get shot annually only if the Black Rhino's come under a specific title, where they can no longer reproduce and where they become dangerous and start fighting other younger Black Rhino bulls who are in the prime of there lives, however unfortunately in many cases the injuries these old Black Rhino cause to these younger Black Rhino's often end up being fatal. So only in these circumstances are Trophy hunters permitted to hunt Black Rhino's and the permits to hunt them are generally auctioned off and always fetch 6 to 7 figures, this money predominantly from Rhino hunting goes directly back into conservation of the Black Rhino and even the White Rhino for that matter. We need to get on top of these POACHERS because they kill many hundreds. South African Department of Environmental Affairs have all these statistics, in fact as of the 27th of August 2015 Poachers have killed 749 Rhino's, so the numbers will be close to 1,000 or over by the end of 2015. 1215 Rhino's were killed in 2014 Earlier this year, the Dallas chapter of SCI auctioned off a Black Rhino hunting permit and a American won the hunt by being the highest bidder which only went up to $350,000 - However the Dallas Chapter of SCI who auctioned this Black Rhino hunt apparently paid allot more then $350,000 for the Black Rhino hunting permit. Unfortunately due to all the protesting from the Animal liberationists at this convention, it scared away most of the hunters due to all the publicity so that's why it only sold for $350,000 - if the Animal Liberationists didn't cause such a scene then the permit would have sold for 7 figures. Not to mention the meat from this Black Rhino that was harvested by Corey Knowlton who is a Trophy hunter fed many people from local villages for months. Type in Google this: (TEXAS HUNTER BAGS HIS RHINO ON CONTROVERSIAL HUNT IN NAMIBIA) Then you can read all about it and there is also video of the hunt along with the hunter speaking after the hunt while being interviewed by CNN I think. As I keep saying the biggest problem with wildlife decline is POACHING and obviously loss of habitat. However the vast majority of Animal Liberationists who have NO bloody clue such as idiots like "Choice or No Choice" who continue to profess Trophy hunting is inhumane and is the main cause of declining numbers in certain species and so forth is absolute RUBBISH. These fools don't give a toss about the animals like they profess, ALL they are is anti gun PERIOD. POACHERS STATISTICS ARE SO SERIOUS, ITS MIND BOGGLING. Between 25,000 to 35,000 Elephants are being killed each year to Poaching. Approximately 1,000 Rhino's are being killed each year to Poaching. Approximately 1,000 to 2,000 Lions are killed each year to Poaching. Approximately 100 to 200 Tigers are killed each year to Poaching. However we never see massive protests and these so called Animal liberationists causing uproars about Poaching. Yet if a animal is hunted by a harvested by firearm then we hear ALL about it. If only all that up roar and protesting was done for poaching, as they carried on for Cecil the Lion that was hunted by a Trophy hunter. Mind you I don't condone what Theo Bronkhurst did who was Walter Palmer's professional hunter. I believe Bronkhurst would have known it was Cecil - However ALL that protesting that made world wide NEWS was ridiculous. For any serious Animal Liberationists out there, IF you truly give a crap about animal decline then I suggest you start PROTESTING very fast and hard regarding Poaching, because it will NOT be long before these animals are LOST forever in our wilderness.

This is just fine. The hunting of animals is actually good for the ecology. A few animals from each heard is not a problem and the Buffs are not endangered or threaten animals. The small villages generate a ton of revenue from these hunters. If you want more of your tax dollars to go to these countries by all means stop the hunters. This is business for them.

+Pam Potter Why don't you start a petition on educating people about the real problems such as Poachers. Also try to have Poaching controlled better and hopefully one day completely STOPPED? I will use Elephants as a prime example, do you realise Poachers kill between 25,000 to 35,000 Elephants annually? They kill Cows regardless if pregnant or not, they kill immature elephants, they kill anything that has a glimpse of ivory PERIOD. Are you also aware how these poachers kill the animals, the vast majority of Poachers use steel cable snares, once a Elephant has a snare wrapped around its leg, most of them will cut loose because of the sheer power they have, however as they roam the wild, these snares end up cutting deeper and deeper into the animals legs, most times it takes several weeks too several months before the animal eventually dies due to septicaemia. Where as Trophy hunters kill approximately 200 to 300 Elephants annually. Trophy hunters use large calibre rifles and 90% of the animals are dead within seconds to minutes. Also Trophy Hunters will only hunt the oldest Bull Elephant or oldest males no matter what the species a Trophy Hunter hunts, its always the oldest males as we are after the largest Tusks, horns, antlers, hence the name "Trophy Hunter" Also the meat from each animal harvested by a Trophy hunter is totally consumed by the local villages and to a small degree us Trophy Hunters consume it while on safari however there is only so much one person can eat within a two to four week safari. My point being NOT a thing goes to waste. Are you aware what happens to the tens of thousands of Elephants that are killed by Poachers, clearly NOT? Let me enlighten you, they have their tusks removed, and the rest of the carcase is left to rot, unless the scavengers and predators get to it. I am a Trophy hunter and the Lion in my photo is a full mount of the Lion I hunted in Zambia in 1999, I hunted that Lion on a 1.2 Million acre concession, I shot that Lion on the 19th day of my Safari and I worked my ass off to get it too. Not to mention we had a few very close encounters with Hippo's, Lions & Elephants. We found a total of 18 snares within a 20 day safari and removed/confiscated them along with setting fire to many poachers camp sites which were obviously made from thatch/grass. Granted, go ahead and start a petition regarding canned shootings. I agree with you whole heartedly regarding "Canned Hunting" in fact I take offence that its called "Canned Hunting" because there is NO hunting involved at ALL with canned shootings PERIOD. In fact if you're site stipulated the difference between "Canned Hunting" and true Trophy Hunting then I personally would have signed your petition and I am a Trophy Hunter and im certain all Trophy Hunters will also jump on board. However your title Regarding "Canned Hunting & Trophy Hunting" on your petition shows that in your eyes regardless whether the animal is bred by humans to be eventually shot while the animal is sitting in a cage or a small area, otherwise known as "Canned hunting" As opposed to true Trophy Hunting where the animal is literally hunted and possibly shot in total wilderness, no fences nothing but pure wilderness. Let me get this right, It does not matter to you, its ALL the same in your eyes regarding "Canned Hunting & Trophy Hunting correct? If I am understanding your petition correctly then im afraid to inform you, that your petition is TOTALLY screwed and you're literally pissing against a 100 mile gale force head wind. Don't take my word for it, just look how many have singed your petition. Only 1,304 people have singed your petition, yet this single KZread post has had 265,000 viewers, that's less then half of one percent just from this KZread post alone. Only God knows how many times you have posted the link to you're petition via all the other social media platforms. 99% of Trophy Hunters are appalled by people who shoot a animal that has been bred in captivity, for the sole purpose to be shot by a wealthy business man/woman, who pays big dollars just to pull a trigger on a captive bred animal. It's worth noting this is NOT Hunting, Any 5 year old child has the capability to pull a trigger on a firearm and kill a animal in a confined area. People who do this are NOT classed as Trophy Hunters at ALL, they are classed as lazy ass scum bags, by Trophy Hunters lets just clarify that. This is the problem when it comes to most Animal liberationists or ANYONE going on about Trophy hunting. The vast majority have NO clue about the FACTS, and sadly most Animal liberationists for whatever reason will cause absolute chaos when a animal has been killed by a human using a firearm. However they choose to ignore the serious problems such as POACHING which will be the cause for many species such as Rhino's, Tigers, Elephants, Jaguars and Lions just to name a few that will no longer be roaming the wilderness in 50 years time if Poaching isn't stopped or controlled. As I stated I am a Trophy Hunter and proud to a Trophy hunter, I know im trying to make a difference as I have personally donated approximately $30,000 towards anti poaching and that money was literally donated. It does not including the hundreds of thousands I have spent on Trophy hunting, where portions of Trophy hunting funds also gets put back into Wildlife & conservation. The question I keep asking myself is this: Are these Animal liberationists genuinely concerned about the welfare of the Animals or are they deep down ANTI GUN and use the animal to try and make some kind of inept statement?
