She’s a Broadway actress and not the actual voice actor for Illumi for any of the series. People mistaken this 😅 it’s only Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka voice actors who played their actual parts.

its amazing how in the past the anime musical is acted by the real voice actors and not celebrities. The voice of characters represent the characters so well when they have a celebrity with a totally different voice acting as the character in musical it just doesnt feel right anymore.

河島愛 ゴン、キルア、クラピカ、レオリオ、ヒソカはアニメと同じ声優さん本人が出演してますよ！

ハンターハンターは初期アニメが永遠に好き、声優も絵柄もたまに憲生氏が神作画担当してくれたところも、OPのおはようとか太陽は夜も輝くとか、BGMとかちょっと闇があってでもあったかいっていう原作の雰囲気がすごい出てて、作成陣も原作愛してんだなぁてのが伝わってきて、だから初期が永遠に好き、ゴンキルアクラピカレオリオヒソカの声も初期のがベストすぎて、未だに定期的に見返してる

昔の声優さんが1番好きだなぁ… そしてキルア可愛い…

なんか勘違いしてる人がいるみたいなので一応… ゴン、キルア、クラピカ、レオリオ、ヒソカは当時の本家の声優さんが演じています。 それ以外の方は舞台の役者さんたちなので本家の声優さんではないです。

I like this even better because they use a lot of the orignal voice actors to play their actual characters, HISOKA...Always my fav~!

（浪川さんのヒソカが好きな人には申し訳ないけど、）もし旧作がグリードアイランド以降も続いて、なおかつ高橋さんが今もヒソカの声を出せるなら蟻編や選挙編も高橋さんに演じてほしかった。それは竹内さんら他のキャストさんに関しても同じ。

It’s 3:52 am and I just finished watching and I regret absolutely nothing! BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE UP UNTIL THE VERY END (also loved how Silva’s actor carried Leorio’s and Hisoka’s carried ONE ARMED Kalluto’s actress!) In terms of fan service it came out perfectly too; I was head over heels for Illumi (his actress in the costume and that MAGNIFICENT VOICE 😱🥺😍) and Hisoka’s very resembling seiyyu 😇🥰! Both are my personal favourites so I was so happy with the result! Wow! And to think it came out a year after my birth, in 2002! Just wow. Legit! RESPECT!

自分の道、風のうたの歌詞を変えてここでもってくるのほんとに泣ける 大阪公演を実際に見に行ったけど、とてもよかった…メインキャストさん、中でも甲斐田さんと竹内さんの歌唱力が素晴らしかったです。

This is was so beautiful I’m definitely re watching this. I love how the crowd went crazy for Kurapika and Hisoka😂❤️

omg...i really love kurapika in this.... i was like hnnnnngh all the time... especially when he started singing. And lol the fangirls xD during 1:00:03 Kurapika took the credits like "yea im fabulous"... during some of the Leopika scenes, the fangirls were like KYAAA! xD and during the last charac intro credits, he got the most fan-girling xD... and btw, they did a really great job acting... the actress for Gon felt him so much that she managed to cry. Killua shows the exact anger his charac would show. Kurapika is always cute and the smart one. Leorio... well, he's exactly Leorio! xD They did great!!! Definitely worth the two hours!

Also.. The actors for some of these people are actually the voice actors for their characters in the anime (Kurapika, Gon, and Hiskoka are played by the same people who voice their characters in the anime... But it SORTA sounds like this fits with Leorio and Killua... Maybe...)

This is my second time watching this and it always makes me laugh. I’m glad they maid a musical because I LOVE IT. But those two times when all of the fan girls screamed when Kurapika was on screen I did to and I love it 🤣 this is such an amazing musical.

I'm still so amazed by the fact that the voice actors fit their character so well
