Hunter Biden Says Dating His Brother’s Widow Was Hard on Kids

Hunter Biden is speaking out about his relationship with his brother’s widow, Hallie Biden. The two began dating after Beau Biden died of brain cancer in 2015. “Both of us had gone through the most incredibly painful loss, and it was out of love, and I thought maybe that love would bring my brother back. And it didn’t work,” Hunter said in an interview on “CBS This Morning.” Relationship expert Dr. Wendy Walsh says affairs between brothers and sisters-in-law happen more often than you'd think. #InsideEdition

Grief makes people so weird things. For me it made me reach out to old friends and want to form community. For family members of mine it made them lash out at others, create scenarios in their minds about the deaths that weren’t true, and then spread those untruths. I try to forgive these family members for behaving badly in such a difficult time, but I also want to change how we behave in these times of grief and not turn to these strange behaviors. We need to find healthier ways of getting our emotions out instead of turning to drugs, alcohol, and sexual behavior that’s destructive to our families.

They had no choice. It was part of the culture and they couldn’t say no. They knew of the consequences if they didn’t like they would have to go back to their parents’ and that’s a shame, they lose rights and ownership of their children, their chances of marrying again would be very low, and a lot more other reasons that would be too much for me to write here.

He probably had a thing for her even before his brother became sick, and used HER grief as a way to get close and move in, comforting her while gratifying himself. She realized he didn't have half the character his brother had, probably made her grieve her loss even more Using his mother's and sisters death, he had more support than most. I heard Jill was an amazing step mother. Did he say he was only two when she? died.
