As still as the forest seems, it feels alive as the sun dances through the leaves. Towering pines populate the surroundings, with nothing but the calming sounds of the creek brushing against stone to fill the silence. But there is a stirring.
Fresh needles rain from above the canopy of the trees, too abrupt to be caused by the winds. What could be up there, so high above the rest of the world? Is it an escape? A new perspective? Maybe both? Hopefully he finds what he's looking for.
