I was the last man on my team to go down fighting another team of 3, but it was such a slow fight, and I was sneaking around so effectively, that when i traded with one of them, their 3rd thought i survived. I watched him for 10 minutes as he was mostly too terrified to even move just giggling my ass off.

even worste if you killed 2 of another team and the 3 nearly but he manage to kill you.now he get his teammates up very fast while your 2 teammates still wait full with fear somewehere in bushes then they got killed easy i can go crazy when this happen.and i happen alot. one main thing to win...help your teammates up as soon as you can.i lost so many matches only cause the other team helped up all the time and my team did nothing. sometimes i am down and got teammates right next to me and they dont help me up but they want to play the hero and go to attack but die....arghhh

So true, i 1v2’d while we were killing a boss got flanked from hatch entrance and backdoor but had a shotgun after that went to shoot a pallet from 15 meters to the last guy so my russian teammates would easily 2v1 but they didn’t even use their flash and molotovs against him and he ended up carrying :D i should’ve waited for him to get closer

I play with randoms all the time. The important thing is to push when they push, or make sure they are close by if you push. Its always going to be a numbers game.

This is a really good video. Respectful of what you bring to the game as as well as random teammates. We are all biased knowing that "the random" is Rachta Z. They did a really good job and you did a good job explaining how to get most out of random group.

I've only got a little over 600 hours, most of those hours have been with randoms. Most of the time the randoms like to push compounds loud and proud and die instantly, or they crouch everywhere. The badasses that carry you are great though :)

I play almost always Randoms and its great, feels like 3 mercs with individual goals coming together to make some money. Of course my KDA floats somewhere below 0.7 but clutching a 1v3 with randoms and hearing them thank you after you rez them is quite an experience

I only ever play randoms, duos 99% of the time. Its average gameplay most of the time but when it's bad oh boy is it bad. The best games are those when you just really click with you partner. Even better when matchmaking gives you that same good partner 3 or 4 times in a row

what a nice team you got. I usually die and they extract or one of my mates die and they instantly disconnect :D

I would also recommend for people to join the public hunt discord. You can team up with people there to and they also 100% communicate with you.

Played a game with randoms the other day. One guy was a vegetable pretty much so we had to babysit but the other was a good shot. As soon as I figured I had one of my teammates I could work with, I decided to become his catalyst. Basically, I talked things out with him and let him know what my idea is, then lose no time and push for him with him following up on me. I died a few times but he carried the rest of every engagement and we cleaned the lobby. Was a good match, I love my randoms. Even the boring ones.

That's the most important thing when playing randoms honestly. Look how your teammates play, see if they have similar playstyle so you can have some teamwork going on. It can save your life a lot cuz you can see "aight, one dot guy is just sitting in bushes, pinging targets but not shooting, not engaging, can't rely on him" and you know it's better to not stick with him. That "recon" helps a ton once you get into fight.

I didn't know poison sparks LLR gave heavy poison. That's really good.

There are so many disadvantages when playing with random,my least favorite is the lack of way to communicate,for example i traded with another hunter but i can't tell them that and they'll circle around thinking that the guy who killed me is still in there camping my body

Played first couple random games and even though they didn't talk they were good and we worked as a team really well

Playing with randoms is basically matchmaking cooldown simulator while you try to get matched with people who are slightly more likely to not completely fail you at absolutely every turn.

Game 2 at 17:05 did you side strafe and then spam crouch three times? are you on hold or toggle? ive been trying to duplicate that movement but didnt think it was possible

I am always amazed how far away you hear things like crouching and healing from. Do you leave your audio on 24 bit and 48000hz or have you changed them?

I wonder what their kda and total kills are?

No you have to extract to keep it.

ive played most my hours with random trios, i think its generally best to just try and communicate as best as you can pinging shit and whatnot whilst keeping your distance so that if a random does some dumb shit and gets ambushed you dont fall with them. and yeah never think that you rely on randoms always

Thank you for a very informative and useful guide video. I got one question, do you need to play hero and fight 3 people that are obviously better than you when all your random partners died?

I can only answer for myself, but if they seem nice I try to play the hero. If not then I just go on and play like a solo and if they get burned, tough luck. And if you really want to save your hunter just extract, when you queue up with randoms its just SoloQ+, you owe them nothing as do they.

it all depends on how many points you have already gotten. If its the beginning of the match and havent earned any money then you have nothing to really lose so just try to fight it out. But lets say you killed 4 people, looted, gotten a lot of PvE points or killed the boss? My suggestion would be to cut your luck and run to save your points/money.

Did u guys kill lotta mobs and collect a few clues? Maybe he was farming exp to get fanning or levering. I sometimes do this (as a solo tho) with free level 1 hunters to get an edge in later games.

My biggest advice for randoms is to not shoot. Randoms are always at a disadvantage so it’s best to have as best a surprise location as possible. Also most people I random with, including me, hate that one loud player. Often times he’s just bad and loud and it’s super annoying when that player gets the rest of the team killed with a bad position.

13:20 What did you use to make night maps brighter? Since they stopped supporting Nvidia filters I can't play on night maps because of my monitor.

I think proximity voice chat and team voice chat should be separate. Because of proximity voice, Randoms communicate and coordinate less - meanwhile, teams of friends use Discord, putting them at a huge advantage. Crytek should just cut out the middle man and allow all random players to communicate without fear of being heard by others, with another voice channel if you want to communicate/taunt enemy players.

Dude :D Im working my ass off to drag randoms with me throuout entire map :D Im this one random that tries his best to carry asses, choke burning hunters and never letting anyone down !:D And you're right... many times random peeps just leave u on the ground rooting in pile of mud :D

Then youre just blind. 1.) you see her before the smoke, and 2) you see her behind the smoke standing next to the tree.

my favourite kind of randoms are the ones that push without thinking with long ammo loadout, die and give the other team the pressure relief, and when you win the fight despite beeing down a player and you pick them up, they call you a "pussy", because you played your loadout correctly.

or the ones with sniper loadout that sit 200 m away in a bush so you play 2 v 3 all the time and then you get downed because they push you, you take one with you and the sniper begins to run a 1 km circle around so he can sit in another bush and do nothing for 10 minutes.

how about we all just get a rachta z on our team then itll be balanced. lol

Most of the time my randoms are ... ok But yesterday I had 2 randoms, both with a free hunter loadout and no other equipment. That means no vital shots, no medi packs or dynamite or anything. They both just went in with a complete free loadout and what can I say ...

Asian server is the worst place to play with randoms. Although i have a good ping on Asia i never play in there. The playstyle of players is awful, everybody is a camper.

I usually play Europe, but for shits and giggles I once joined Asian server and the ping was so crazy haha, but still was fun.

Actually match making in Hunt is kinda not fair when i catch rachta Z with p100 against me with p2 and my teamates p11 and p35 :)

I was so mad one day getting randoms with no mic who wouldn't listen to me or respond or do anything and die immediately that i loaded in with one and team killed him. Unethical? Yes. But if you wanna entirely play like you're solo and don't have teammates, just play solo. Or else just communicate, then we can play. I don't mind bad teammates, just catatonic ones who shoot everything and mess up my game with no communication.

As someone who usually doesn't talk in game I think I can speak for most of us when I say it's because people are so toxic. I'm kind of just over it so I don't even bother anymore

ive had a teammate watch me kill 2 people from a bush then still watch me have a 45 sec firefight with the 3rd, i stopped fighting the enemy after that 45 sec shootout and just asked my rando why is he not shooting, he has a gun in his hands if he pulls the trigger a bullet will fly out and he still sat and never shot a bullet till i died (you will never guess what happened next). similar experience with a squad that let the enemy take the bounty from a boss WE killed then waited till they left and then rezed, when 2 were dead and it was just a 1v1... now being a pussy is fine i cant blame you if you were born with estrogen flowing through your veins, but to then teamkill someone because they call you a pussy for everything that happened..... im an ez 1.7 kd by myself cuz i know where to be and what to do but these "teammates" in 3 star games are dogs, so i just have to solo till im 4 star? and 1.7 kd isnt enough to help me rank up? its just so demoralizing, big rant cuz im drunk and the title triggered me i still havent watched the vid
