The Mojaves from Tucson AZ were shown in AZ study to have the potent neurotoxin, others from elsewhere in the range not so much. I watch Noah's channel as well.

How common is it to see a rattle snake with a blue tongue? I have a video of one on my youtube channel. Great video by the way! Hey also I heard if you move them more than a mile from their home they will die? Used to move mine after sundown to give them a little bit of an advantage. But much farther than 1 mile cause my neighbors don't like the idea of them coming back. I usually find 3 a year on my property without even looking. Not on purpose put my foot within striking distance 3 times and they either just tried to get away or rattled. The times they didn't rattle I heard their scales scraping on the cement. Sorta like if you were to drag a hose or something.

Robert Christ im not sure there is much scientific evidence of moving snakes more than a mile killing them. For some species, that is certainly true because of how adapted and specialized they are to their own ecosystem or niche. Different species of rattlesnakes are known to have different “radiuses” that they move. For instance a diamondback will likely cover much much more ground than a rock rattlesnake. As far as tongues go, i have never really payed attention i guess! I’ll have to look back at some photos and see.

I am a little surprised that there are no arguments about snake toxicity going on in the comments.

Subscribed... just a suggestion, can you use the common name first, and then the scientific name?
