@@SleepyMook It is kinda weak metal gear story, but its one which got me emotionaly invested the most, I played mgs1, mgs2, mgrr, and mgs5, Phantom Pain just somehow clicked with me, I was in a very bad place mentaly back then and Venom Snake's strugle to be some legendary Big Boss everyone expects him to be while having no clue how he even got into this whole thing in a first place was relatable, in a strange way Venom was like a father figure to me (similar to Optimus Prime back when I was little kid), and Quiet's story got ruined by Kojimbo's horniness, like grinding for that tactical vest for Quiet actualy improved overal game experiance, and dont get me started how gameplay is legendary (To clarify any misconceptions, I worked at carwash for miserable pay in even more miserable conditions because I need money for uni, so its no wonder I was depressed back then)

There are people saying that this makes more sense than _Hunt Down the Freeman,_ and they're not completely wrong. Ludicrous as it is, this actually _fixes plot holes, fills in missing information, adds details, and improves characterization_ compared to the original fucking game. It tells you that seventeen years have passed. It explains what Mitchell and his army have been doing for the past two decades. It tells us that Mitchell's soldiers are loyal to him and look up to him, and gives good reasons why they do. It gives Mitchell an _actual_ reason to honour the deal with G-Man despite not caring about his original reasons for making it. It gives Mitchell some actual internal conflict about fighting the Resistance. It explains why Mitchell briefly continued to trust Adam after he killed Sasha. It explains why Mitchell knew about the _Borealis._ _Hunt Down the Freeman_ lacked all of these things - that's how fucking terrible it is. When a _Half-Life: Full Life Consequences_-style retelling of a game tells your own story better than you do… God help you.

Tbh: I kind of like the idea for HDTF's setup (mostly that everything was G-Man giving Gordon a hand with HL2 by doing more behind the scenes shenanigans and that everything Mitchell went through was a just long con for the greater good) but obviously everything else about it failed miserably. Who knows, it could've been good if the premise was in the right hands? ...But it wasn't. *So it's not.* Complete trashfire of wasted potential.

Moint pan killed *at least* 17 a day for 17 years, so on particularly action packed days that number could be a lot higher. Since that’s probably his personal kill count “I kill at LEAST seventeen combianes a day”, that means his soldiers would have also killed a lot more in that time. No wonder the combine drained the ocean to slow him down.

Well, to be fair, there are several games out there that are actually very hard to understand....... .....but it's because they are made to challenge you intelectually and all that.

Even on easy mode, Free Man still needed to call for the help of John Freeman in the end.

I like how Moint Pan starts off in the first video from being just humble and happy to be alive, then becoming a badass edgelord in the beginning of this video.

After about the 10th time watching, I just want everyone to appreciate that A) this actually makes sense and is a good story, unlike the actual HDTF, and B) that Moint Pan is unironically a fucking badass protagonist
