Yes!!! the sharp fish bone can even cause some infection to the injury left. I won't take long to crush that kind of food to protect the cats... what good is it to video tape them getting hurt and do nothing about it...

I have seen a cat catch fish. It happened in Java. There was a small stream (shallow, narrow, with rocks) with lots of carp swimming through. The cat stood dead still next to the stream, under a bamboo. Suddenly, with just one paw it lunged into the watch and flicked up a fish onto the bank.

Why the strings around the necks, an is raw fish okay just wondering. They are eating good clean food 😋 I feed the strays in the neighborhood every night. Watching them at least have one good clean meal to see them waiting knowing its good, good food.

All this time... now I realize I need fish tails!

While its nice thing to do, cats shouldnt eat fishbone. It could damage their digestion system.

I like how they were smart enough to walk up and take a fish, rather than pile up at the plate. I have a cat who was a stray. I spent several months feeding him. Then I made him a bed and kept his food and water with it. Put it in a nice spot under a bench, against the house. This way he had some good cover. I didn't think he would get along with the cat I already had, which is why I didn't take him in sooner. Then when I had to move, I couldn't just leave him. So I scooped him up into the carrier, and took him to my new house. He and my other cat fought a little, but soon settled. Two days later, I took Tom Tom ( the former stray ) to the vet, and got him fixed. Also got him his shots. Now we all 3 live together. Me, Tom Tom, and my other cat Biscuit. They're both in door cats now.
