Despite only shooting traditional recurve I decided to start subscribing today and within hours Armin blesses us with a new one. This is one of the most beautiful bows I've seen, but a one piece design for it does seem like the right call.

It's a great thought but the connections for the handle are not great. As a one piece it would be better! Great honest review as always!

Scary bow.

Nope. Hard to imagine anyone would release a representation of their design and production to the world in this condition. Yes the bow could break, but if it did it could injure the archer. Armin, you are right safety should never be a compromise with something like a bow. None of the issues should exist in any bow at any poundage. Thank you for the review Armin.

I used red serving to tie a Knotless Knot as a knocking point for my new laminated Nokhor bow, so nice. This video is an excellent example of a bow i wouldn't want, even creaking on you, very enlightening to watch Armin examine it.

I wish they hadnt painted the blue wavy lines down the limbs.. That wooden pattern would have been so pretty on its own.

Somehow I find perversely settling that sometimes you still find bows which are not perfect.🙃

Bow is beautiful and practical, being a takedown. I wish you had some lower poundage bow to review. Max 40. I would say.

I like it for what it is. We still dpnt have a good takedown/folding asiatic bow that we can say is directly comparable to the Olympic recurve. But with this bow we are on the road to having one. One day. We will have a ''Hawk Eye'' inspired asiatic bow that will be amazing.

finally, traditionnal take-down bows are the ultimate evolution (Khesig, Mariner, Alibow...) but this one seems too stiff to be nice, perhaps 30# would be softer and wider (3-32" draw) ?

I also think 50 lbs is too much for that bow. I like the fact that the material is pushed to almost its limits. But, the limbs are a straight even glass fiber strip, not tapered, wich means that eventualy it will fail where is inserted in the handle, that spot bears the most tension and pressure. I also do not like the "seyah". Too big. I don't know if they buy the fiberglass strip as standard or make it themselfs, but i would make it a little bit thinner and i would laminate it with X patter glass weave to make it more stronger to twist. I would make the limbs a little bit longer and the seyah a shorter and lower it to 40lbs draw weight. I guess the fact that is not straight could be fixed with shims and shaving a little bit from the limbs to sit straight, but that should be fixed before shipping. I like the fact that you can put this bow in a back pack. And the price is quite cheap. But the problem i think is that the bow is under too much tension and won't hold together for a long time. I think they make it 50lbs with the presumption that you can hunt with it. I think you would need a much more stable bow for hunting. They should just lower the draw weight and let it be a recreational bow.

side to side fitting MUST be tight front to belly fitting MAY be more relaxed might consider an odd profile for the take down tabs&slots

I think he should split at handle, just makes sense to me.

This is such a great bow but After having my SAS Scout survival bow break on me after admittedly heavy use after only a year over the same type of joints I'd hard pass on this one. The material is just too stressed. The slats are just not a stable enough way to attatch something under this much tension. But what wirries me the most is that unstring.

Probably needs to be a 2 piece takedown in the handle closet to the middle. The place that shouldn’t bend.

Have you tried any bows from topoint?

i think this bow is dangerous when the limb missoutt

I would be afraid shooting this thing and return it to the maker immediately hopefully the customer can get his money back. Armin did not mention it, but look at 12:12, at least the painting (hopefully only the painting) already has several cracks all across the lower limb. Simply not acceptable for a new bow. Also the wiggly connection of the riser with the limbs and this scary sideways torsion instability itself would be a no go for me.

Even at different city just 30 km away with minimum wrapping package can make your bow crooked 😅
