It's binary now, #2. the war against Germany *did* target civilians - and massively so - (did you forget about Dresden?) and it *was* anti-German (and even more so in World War I, where *everything* German was anathematized); and #3. In fact, Germany was the reason the nuclear bomb was developed. ​@tayibahussain because unless they publicly state they are against Israel altogether, they are not allowed past the protesters, not allowed into the libraries, harassed, verbally attacked etc, so the freedom of speech is only demanded for the pro-Palestinian side, but doesn't allow for a different view, or even for not expressing a view. And it's not just disavowing Israel's actions, they demand that they are against Israel per se.

What’s confusing about this whole situation is that it’s possible to both condemn the Hamas attacks _and_ think Israel has been more than heavy-handed in its response to October 7th. It’s possible to support Palestinian freedom from Israeli state oppression without being antisemitic just as it’s possible to support Israel against Islamist aggression without being anti-Muslim. These 2 things are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Too many folk are either/or in this conflict when it’s possible to be both/and.

When most Jews around the world support Israel (are Zionists), I am pretty sure denying them a country after trying to kick them out of Europe is wrong. Also when they made Israel, the Arabs kicked most Jews out of their own countries (reduction in their 1948 population by over 90%) ...which is also wrong. So you can see, anti-Jewish hate outside Israel leads to further Zionism (Jews migrating to Israel) and the anti-Zionism cause seems to be furthering anti-Jewish hate outside Israel as well.

Read Amnesty international operation caste iron lead operation isreal did they used Palestinians as human shields they shot people randomly and they terrorised families. The one i read and had to stop reading any further was when they used a family as human shields and let some go but just for the giggles shot the nephew but when the uncle turned back to look at him they told him to keep moving or he was next. The ambulance was not allowed through the guy bleed to death. They have strapped Palestinian children on their tanks as human shields. No verified or any confirmation that hamas has done any of this with the Palestinians. I am no fan of Hamas either but the facts are you cannot say a group is using human shields with no evidence of that to justify doing all this. They've clearly deliberately ignored this fact because it means they can't push the fake antisemitism angle. I though channel 4 was one of the good media groups...clearly I was wrong.
