UPDATE: This wash has been Renovated. the first set of Belanger wrap arounds were replaced with MCWW units, the HydroTube rinse arch was removed along with the Clear Coat signage and the Old AirStream Dryers were taken out and replaced with Dryer Pro Dryers. The conveyor was also replaced. The Whipper Snapper Front to Back Mitter, Second set of Belanger Wrap Arounds, Rocker Panel Brushes and Whip Across Side to Side Mitter still remain though. At least you have a video of the wash when it was 100% Original.

The equipment that this wash uses. Whipper Snapper Front To Back Mitter, 4 Wrap Arounds, 2 Rocker Panel Brushes, Whip A Cross Side To Side Mitter, HydroTube Rinse Arch and 2 AirStream Dryers/6 SideKick Dryers. I’m guessing that there was a 3rd AirStream Dryer at one point but it was taken out.

The most beautiful belanger dryer sound ever! After the flowing water, you only hear the dryers before the Airstream raises. Satisfying (

Those rare retro Belanger Airstream Dryers are my childhood nostalgia! They are extremely difficult to find these days along with similar units like the Mark VII Vortex and Sherman drop downs!

Yes and the Flowcell dryers are hard to find too. Many washes had Airstream dryers and Flowcell dryers but now many have been replaced with Aircanons.

@@greatcitysportaction2289 sadly this wash was renovated and the AirStream Dryers were replaced with Dryer Pro Dryers. The HydroTube rinse arch was also replaced and the first set of wraps were replaced MCWW units. The Whipper Snapper Front to Back Mitter, Second Set of Wraps, Rocker Panel brushes and Whip A Cross Side to Side Mitter remain though.

Those dryers are my childhood nostalgia too because the first ever Car Wash I went to was the Simoniz Car Wash in Lewisville and it has a Vintage Belanger Tunnel. Many years before I first came to that wash there probably used to be two Belanger Airstream dryers. Then when I first went to this wash there were blue protovest top shot and sideshot dryers behind the older sidekick dryers (which I believed replaced one set of Airstream dryers). The sidekick dryers and the two drop down Airstream dryers were replaced when it was Simoniz. The reason why I say there was an Airstream dryer it’s because of the dryer setup of the Sidekick dryers. Thankfully Washguys didn’t replace it. Washguys bought the wash in 2015, replaced the Protovest dryers with Sonny’s dryers then kept the rest of the old Belanger equipment and refurbished it. Hopefully I’ll film a few Car Washes that I know of that use Belanger Airstream dryers.

@@zmanifest Yes they do. I hope there can a be rare Vintage Belanger system in Tyler Texas (which is a place I like to go to) that has Airstream dryers.

This very much reminds me of Wilk’s Classic Car Wash in Sulphur Springs Texas which I am planning to film soon but with two HydroTube arches, 3 Airstream dryers, two wrap arounds, and different colors of the equipment. Hopefully there is an old Belanger system similar to this but with different colors of the equipment.

This is SOOOOO rare!

I'm not surprised if it's no longer around. Look at how the conveyer and the first set of wrap arounds are so slow.

Yes but it feels very retro. All of the equipment here is completely original. A lot of these vintage Belanger washes have had the Airstream Dryers taken out and replaced with Aircannons. Being inside this car wash feels very retro. My childhood Car Wash called the White Glove Car Wash in Arapahoe County Colorado used to have a vintage Belanger System with Airstream Dryers, sad to say that everything was ripped out and replaced with a Spinlite System.

Is this system still inside with the wash closed or the system is ripped out?
