The Art of Confusion, Yoshimitsu.

For his spins you can just use grabs since they track, for f1+2 it's-12 he can't spin out of a punish, for flea you gotta use either a running kick or a high launcher depending if he's jumping or not (his jump has enough recovery frames that you can comfortably use any disjointed hitbox) and for flash you can either look at your pressure chains and see which ones put you in range or treat your every move as it is -4 more frames. Other than that seppuku and sword sweep are tbh just like getting hit by a snake edge so that's (yoshi specific) reactions and for his ub1+3 unblockable series it's actually kinda hard but backdash into sidestep option selects everything. For dragonfly transitions 3,1 is duckable but if you didn't duck do not press OR heat crash it invalidates all options, 3~4 is jab floatable, running 3 is the one you actually just have to respect but it's very easily sidesteppable, and raw dragonfly means they're either going for f1+2 or 3+4 and both are duckable. Yeah it's a lab character but like most lab characters yoshi loses a lot of bite when you do lab. I'd say t8 yoshi is still pretty solid if you know his tricks which is why he's a solid high B to mid A tier in this game as NSS is pretty cohesive while since tekken 6 once you labbed him he was dead, but that's mostly it.

It’s been like that since Tekken 4. Tekken 4 came out in 2002. His hit box has been like that longer than some of the players have been live. Yes, it’s intentional.
