Arijit Singh is best at singing with a restrictive voice. He sings as if he is constipated. He is trying to mimick English Western style of singing. And we are not only accepting this style of singing but also acknowledging it to be the Best. Wow Great! We are not English, We are Hindi speaking ppl. They are making us sub-consciously accept western way of expressions, thinking, culture/life style. That is what we are doing unknowingly. And That is what we have become. Think about it: our emotions, expressions, values are tied to our language thru our music/singing. They are manipulating our thought process by shoving in western style in Hindi Music. He has a powerful voice throw, but he purposely restricts it, just to mimic western style singing. This western style brings in western expressions which we have no relation to. In our Indian culture, music is considered a medium to attain God. Our worship is Music. The very creation started with the universal sound / music. So our Indian music relates and brings you closer to your own real self. It brings u to peace. It's the greatness of Indian music that it can emote a feeling of eroticism not only in a dignified way but eulogize it and connect it to being Godly. This the power of our Indian music and heritage. It is very pure and there is no need to contaminate it with western expressions/thoughts which happen to be vulgar more often than not and nothing to learn from it. Indian music leads u on the path of self search. Know your culture bother. No offense.
