I think the last bunker you explored might be a water storage cistern built to provide a water supply to the site, which may not have had a mains supply. The bunker is also on higher ground which would produce a "head" of water and so negate the need for a pump. The opening has a metal frame similar to modern domestic manhole covers which are water and airtight but lifted with levers or keys, as oposed to having a hinged lockable hatch. The walls also appear to have been given a smooth, almost polished finish which is easier to keep clean and algae free, unlike a rough concreted surface would be. Just a thought. Keep the great videos coming :)
Your videos always make me smile Kris. I grew up on a farm that was a ww1 and ww2 airfield. I spent my youth exploring the bunkers and feel your love for it. Cheers dude.

I know this is an old video, but I really enjoy history like this. I have also been enjoying your videos for a long time and going back and watching these is actually new content to me and satisfies my viewing of more of your videos. Thnx much...✌️😎
The buried structure at 12:00 looks like a sound mirror to me! There are quite a few in the area as you probably know and some on white cliffs of Dover that have recently been dug out and can be visisted. I might be wrong but it looks pretty distinct on the old map you have.
That perfectly cut scream was beautiful 2:30
Thanks for the adventure.. Love your dog and thank you for covering that hole!
These vids should have millions more views
I visited duxford airfield a couple years ago, they had the same type of bunker as the one inside the mound, they were covered in grass and dirt so that German bombers couldn’t find them, very interesting!
First time here watching. You now have me hooked with your lovely smile and warm greeting. I'm obsessed with wwII hunting. My father fought and his other seven brothers fought; two were POW's in the Pacific. All eight brothers made it home. Thank you for your content.

You're videos brighten up my lockdown, so thank you. I live near the cliffs and one time I found a either a 19th century or a Ww2 spoon in a bunker in the cliff

WE DONE IT AGAIN MY FRIENS
This reminds me of where I lived a while ago. There were these abandoned barracks that me and my brothers would investigate. It was very dangerous of us to go to the second floor because it wasn’t too stable. They turned the barracks into like a bar type thing which is sad to see but now it’s got a use. (This is in the US) once me and my brothers thought we saw a man with a black hoodie walk around a corner but there wasn’t anything that we saw. We didn’t dare go into any of the rooms but we did just explore outside and upstairs. Wish I did explore in the rooms I might’ve found something but oh well

Where the bones were it looked like there was the shape of a person’s outline like lying on their side... decomposition can often leave shapes of people after they die and are in the same place for a long time 😮 great vid tho, subscribed :)

I just came across your channel and I love it. See I was born in Bad Kreuznach my father was in the U.S Army stationed there. My grandfather was there with the invasion of Normandy, he was a Lt. Commander in the Navy U.S. The relics he brought back from the war, well they were amazing. What you are doing I would love to do but unfortunately a bad knee keeps me from doing this just for now. I love WWII history and would love to see Germany so I will follow what you do for now and I really enjoy it. If I can help donate something to your channel let me know. Be careful and thank you. Your a great guy.

4:03 was hilarious
Growing up on old RAF bases (well still active but were old and operated on during WW2) in the early 1970's I used to runabout old bunkers and holes still in the ground until chased off by the Snowdrops (Raf Police) good fun.
My grandad never talked about the war much, but ive heard many things over the years. He saw the worst parts, was in a german death camp, a russian death camp, then after escaping those came to britain to join the RAF.
I absolutely love watching these ww2 vids and I desire to be in the U.S. Marine Corps in 3 years when I graduated high school

Hey I also like exploring ww2 bunkers but can I ask where can I find information about them like old maps and other info I am perplexed buy the site at landond heights in between dover and Kingsdon. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you for amazing videos
I live in essex close to the start of the GHQ line of WW2 bunkers and pill boxes that surrounded london. On our local marsh's there are dozens of Bunkers including Decoy bunkers where they'd ignite fires on the marsh's to lure the night bombers away from the oil refineries and harmlessly bomb the marsh instead.
Man, you are some hero, Take care, taking on such dangerous areas. Hope you make more, Out of Town, man cheers.
There is a bunch off bunkers out side my families vication house, they are form ww2, me and my dad looked truh some of them a few years ago, most off them cant be tuched now tho, they are saldy almost colapsing. One of them faces out towards the see witch my guess is that they shit ships down. Its pretty awsome (In Norway)
