HUMAN KIND - No One’s Life Is 100% Happy All The Time. We Need To Stop Judging Others.
Фильм және анимация
Life is full of ups and downs, ebb and flow. Things happen that create sadness, grief, anger and fear. No one’s life is 100% happy all the time.
We need to stop judging others and realise that we have no idea what someone else is going through. If someone is being rude, give them the benefit of the doubt that they may be having a rough day. You may just have one of those yourself someday soon...
And if we make it okay to be open and honest when we are struggling, it allows each of us to have a deeper level of understanding. So let's all work on becoming more compassionate. Together, we can help each other and ourselves.
Filmed in Barrydale, South Africa.
Featuring Anton de Villiers.

He’s tidy, disciplined, insightful, intelligent and honest. He’s been hurt. His love for his dog shows his compassion. Being happy and perky is no more real or important than being neutral and melancholic. I like him.

“I’m cold...my feet are cold.” So was his heart. It took a creature, unwanted and outcast, to rekindle the flame of love in Anton de Villiers’ heart. This beautiful and touching story is sensitively told, and the message powerful; if we have compassion and open our heart to others, we too will experience love.

recently realized via meditation to my critical voice grown worse with Social media. But it began with the lessons learned by watching, listening & existing under mum's cruel cold & narcisstic ways. It is only through yoga & meditation where I slow my breathe & looked within at why I behaved that way. laughter burst out of me amidst a meditation one day, realizing I held greater knowledge or awareness from my privileges & instead of finding a path towards reaching the dullards & haters to plant a seed for thought I was waacking them like a mole game. That was a break through I never trust that critical voice & no longer see it as a strength but a weakness that became patterned. Now I seek to pattern my peace of mind & grateful heart.

I’ve watched a good number of Green Renaissance videos and each and every one of them has inspired me and warmed my heart. But this is the first video that brought tears to my eyes. This man is so open, honest and authentic. He is obviously loving and caring (notice how he picks up the litter on the street and of course, takes in a dog that nobody wants). I believe, despite his tendency to criticise which he talks about, I would like him very much indeed. The story of his dog just touches very deeply. And the bookstore looks lovely.

Dogs are the ultimate companions to humans. After our dog Sugar passed away, my husband didn't want another. We loved her very much! I wanted to become a dog walker as a way to satisfy my love of dogs. After my husband died 11 years ago, I did become a pet sitter. And I love it! During the pandemic, I have steadily lost hope in the human race. I never thought I would see the USA stoop to an all time low. So I am trying, having lost faith. Each day I try to do something outside of my home. Take care of yourself, and take care of the lovely Mojo❣ I wish you love 💕 and I wish you well!

Dogs teach us so much about love and life 💚
I've had many dogs through the years and I've learned one big lesson from them: if they go to a person then you can bet your bottom dollar that that is a good person. But if they are reluctant to mix, stay away from that person! I think we know what kind of person you are, André - be kind to yourself!

Honestly, the fact that he realized that he isn´t happy with himself and tries to change something about that already makes him a better person. It´s normal to fail. You can´t expect from a human to be perfect. And the longer you live the more of the bad (but also the good) in people you see. So it´s easy to loose hope sometimes. The real challenge is in picking yourself up after something doesn´t turn out how you wanted it to be and still finding the will to carry on. Despite him seeming so unsatisfied with many things in his life he still anknowledges the kindness in many humans and strives to be more like them. That in itself is already accomplishment!

'I would avoid me completely if i were Me' ... yes, if you were yourself but the purest being in the world did not avoid you at all, your dog, because it sees your soul. This makes me cry because when we hate ourselves there is always an animal that don't hate us. Every human being needs love and some other important things like acceptance and understanding, which are difficult to find. I think every human who is grumpy has something that is missing. That's why we aren't happy.... Amazing video

Thank you so much 💚 You words are very meaningful 💚
There is a lot of raw beauty in his story. The synical or unpleasant side doesn't scare me at all. Sometimes a heart has to express hurt through synical thoughts or words to find relief. It's human. You are keeping goodness safe, and you nourish it. Then it grows and blossoms in different ways.

I love this one from you guys especially, because life is not just brightness and happiness and good stuff all the time. I recover from a deep trauma right now, and one of the core healing moments was to make peace with suffering. That doesn't mean I don't try to get better, it just means that there is nothing _wrong_ with it or me, because sometimes things are just like that. I work as a manual therapist and often people come so tight and closed, eager to perform and get better, not giving in for a second. The relief when I tell them it is alright to complain or be down a bit is tangible. To hear such a confession in a form that is uplifting is unique, it opens up the space around all those feelings and makes me feel much lighter. Loved this, the guy, his dog. Thank you for being this open.

The dog in every way imaginable is/was his mirror. Someone said, “to become conscious of one’s behavior, is to shine a light that can assist us in change we need to make ...” we ever choose; in our endeavor for attention, do we use behavior that is positive or negative? Thanks again for another thought provoking glimpse into a person’s life that is secure enough to share openly and honestly.

Bless him and his pups heart. I understand his standpoint. It's very easy to fall into a curmudgeon mindset. It's much harder to stay in the light and be more positive in this ever-negative and destructive feeling world. Just have to fight the negative and try to contribute in a more positive way for the hopefully greater good. I'm so glad he and his pup found each other in this lifetime. Animals are a true blessing, I believe. 💗

2:27 I am a believer and believe God sent this did to heal him. I was once a mess, because of all the stuff I had endured, and someone was giving free puppies my youngest son (at that time) said; "look mom there giving free puppies, can we get one?". So when we got there there were only 2 left and the lady before me picked the dark brown one and left the golden one....it was a she and we had the best time of our life with her, she healed me of many things and I thank God for sending her to us, although we don't have anymore (not because we didn't want her, but because of circumstances) she fulfilled her purpose and was an excellent dog sent by God. I still think about her and pray she is good wherever she is (I know any person will love her).

@@ReflectionsofLife Yes, it is. 💚💚 💚I just wish they could get much older. It's always so hard to lose a dear animal. I lost my two beloved cats this year.. (14 years old.) Kiri
I bought "Jung and the Story of our Time" by Laurens van der Post, at his book shop, a few years back, during a visit to Warmwaterberg, with my two daughters. I read it, this year. One of the best books I've ever read. Led me to rereading his autobiography, "Yet Being Someone Other". Restored me to my love of reading. A house filled with books. Heaven!

I think this man has unfortunately been told he’s not good, and hence, came to believe it. For his demeanour, and nature, shows he is not as he says. He seems genuinely a nice man. It was refreshing to hear someone speak openly and honestly about their thoughts of themselves. It struck a chord. God bless this man and his dog. May they both have a life full of love.
She is beautiful. She never forgot what she was even if no human could see it. She is just delightfully beautiful, and always will be.

I would like a House of Books. I have quite a collection today, but not as many as you have. I can identify with this man. I spent an entire lifetime being good and kind to people, and in the end, I got kicked, ghosted, and ignored, I have no friends any more. None Nada No One Kaput. Buh Bye Charlie Brown !! If you get kicked enough, I say, Good Riddance, and To Hell with all of you !! I'd be better off alone, than to get continuously kicked by you and everyone else. I have no more of me to give away any longer. People have forgotten the lessons about reciprocation and respect.

I have walked past this lovely man's bookshop so many times, and something always drew me to go inside, but "lack of time" always resulted in missed opportunities. When I do find myself back in that village,I will make a point to be brave enough to go in. It's normally the grumpy old men that have the golden hearts. He doesn't know it,but he exudes kindness and love.

My emotional reaction. Wow.......🙏 Its clear he has great intelligence and deep spiritual knowing. That does make it harder to connect with people who aren't looking at the world with the same lense. A beautiful and introspective film, delving deep into the human psyche with a senstive touch. This man truly has a beautiful soul that he closed his heart to but was able to open and blossom through the love of the dog he saved, who saved him as well. Human kind, be both. Your films move the heart and illuminate the soul. Thank you for the work you do. Namaste. 💚
