The text start a the bottom of the screen but the image hide the lower part.

I got a smile on my face as soon as I read the title. Short, to the point and he didn't lie once, he just didn't tell the whole truth, lol! And I really enjoyed the fact that unlike the other authors stories, you didn't drone on for another whole chapter on how great (in 101 different ways) he is!😊

Don't call those "authors" for those where original stories regurgitated thru a ChatGPT like thing to make it 3x as long, thrown in an AI voice, fully automated, which glitches the F out of the script and skip random parts or have pauses of silence or worse.

Only a human could lie in a truth field.

I first read this story, or one very similar around the late 60's or early 70's He read a lot of fiction or movies/TV, so what he says is technically true. Yup almost identical to the one from Analog. as welll as the one from Reddit.

Hope he snagged some tech, method to convince authorities of this threat. Telling a person what they expect to hear can work wonders. But you need to record it,, or have witnesses. Otherwise they will swear you lied.

nah! just went back to gaming!

Well, back then playing X-Wing Alliance i took on an entire Star Destroyer including the TIE-Fighters alone and blew up the second Deathstar several times. In Wing Commander 3 i defeated the Kilrathi and destroyed their homeworld at lest 7 times. In Elite Dangerous i am elite rank in every category ... oh, and i was also playing Age of Empires a lot. So i can emphasize. 😉
