Well done! You managed to capture the experiences of new Chess players, literally. It's because of them that I prefer the "Scholar's Mate" if playing as White, or the "Fools Mate" if playing as Black. Either way, the opening gives me a chance to evaluate the opposing player's skill level, and whether they are good or bad, gives me a chance to develop my position. The opening can be punished harshly by good players, but then, that's what I'm looking for. And if some fall to the mate, then it's a nice opportunity to help them learn. Mostly, though, I just see a lot of players doing random stuff when their initial strategies work out, and they always lose. Every move in this game is crucial, and I know, you hit the "I just wanted to play with you" nail on the head, but if you want to play, the most exciting matches are amongst the skilled, like any other game.

Ok, so I tried to follow along on an analysis board and was able to make some assumptions using the wide angle shots, but they modified the pieces to fit the story around move 20. Specifically, blacks g-pawn is gone and whites light squared bishop was not in position to attack blacks b-pawn when it did. While it would be possible to pivot the bishop and push the pawn to set up the position, the timing doesn't work for subsequent moves and positions in the wide angle shots. Still a very nice sequence and an incredibly entertaining video. Black was getting beat very badly by move 20 when the board shift happened 😂❤

Bd5 (positioning the bishop) g4 (waiting move, want to get rid of the pawn, also it wouldn't appear in the camera shot)] [the below had to be enormous blunders, 1. deal with it, 2. they did that way too many times already] 23. Bxb7 Rc7 24. Rg8 [Qxg4, again, i had to do this] [25. Rc8, waiting move] c4 (waiting move AND it had to have happened i guess) [26. Rc7 (yet another waiting move) Qf3] Game continues as normal In my knowledge that was the shortest move sequence to get rid of the g pawn, either way i'm sorry that it had to be so terrible

🤩 I was not expecting to love this as much as I did! The costumes were amazing, the special effects were amazing, the character decisions were amazing! This is one of my favorite S&B videos & I don’t even play chess! It was also cool to see some new faces enter the fray & the ending was intriguing (IS THIS CHANNEL GETTING LORE?!?!)

Judah being the hero of this story is just the best thing. I love the growth of the characters throughout these vids. Can't wait for the next one.
I love chess❤
I love these videos
Wow, I did not expect this to be the next video. Chess does not come to mind when you think of your usual content. I dare say this was a rather fun episode, and I love how Britney really got to shine. That cliffhanger though, should we be expecting something bigger soon?

THIS WAS AN EPIC VERSION OF CHESS! It had such an emotive storyline towards it! Loved it!
I wasn't expecting a chess IRL video, but that just makes this video a cool surprise. The heartfelt talk between Judah and Elijah and the Britney transformation scene were my favorite parts. This feels like it could be a cool computer chess game with people playing the pieces and pawns getting costume changes when promoted. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us! ^_^
