While this is clearly a short story, and it is logical and concise delivering a great approach... But it suffers from what I've seen in this channel... Lack of extension - good or bad. It simply left things hanging as to "what happens next". So what was the purpose? My joy/encouragement/desire comes from reading a story that actually has an ending, not leaving it hanging and never return to it... Sorry that's just how I see such a short story...

Sometimes a story has to end that way... the ending can be literally anything you desire. Does the Human abuse his power and will he, like so many, succumb to the attraction of absolute Power? Does the amalgamation of machine logic and Human emotion produce something entirely new... logic tempered with compassion and benevolence? *Your* imagination is what most writers try to expand... just giving you a rote answer that 'they all lived happily ever after' is the sign of a hack.

LOL... you could have the same complaint about every "dust" video or many major Films.... That's why you were given imagination.....

3:35 "thightened his fists, a common sight of anger among biologicals"!? I really want to see how an ant, a fish, a snake, an eagle or a horse tightens its fists.

This was a verry interesting perspective and good story!

Consciousness can't be transferred to any machine, because they are mechanical apparatus and Consciousness is life. Life is the essence of everything in this or any universe, dimension or reality. 😎

​@@UnholyRave666Well, because consciousness is not simply a product of the brain. The brain acts more like an interpreter for our somewhat aptly named "higher consciousness". To attribute it as no more than a function of the "biological machine" that is our body, is to discount the existence of the soul, and by extension, the existence of something greater than ourselves which would give our existence some actual meaning. The concept of consciousness transferal is a scifi trope/MacGuffin which is almost never actually explored in truth.

@@williamstuckless2892there is no proof at all of the existence of that "soul" thing. But the main problem is that there is no "transfer" in that process. Only a copy. A backup. A clone.
