Jagjit is average he is not even a istaad. Ghulam ali mehdi hassan and amanat ali were fathers of ghazal singing In whole subcontinent. Mere mention of jagjit among these titans of ghazal is an insult.

Khan saab hated be-tooki and fazool clapping which often was off laya and off key.. thru his singing off.. remember he has to enjoy what he is presenting to make it even better - otherwise you may as well be listening to a record! 😊👍🙏🏻

You would never like to see these separated from each other: Sangeet from shairee, Shairee from Ghazal and Ghazal from GHULAM ALI Grew up listening to his ghazals. The more I listen to him, the more soothing it gets to the soul. Never get bored and it’s as pleasurable as I heard him for the first time. His name would be always at the top in ghazal singing history.
