We already had 3 stones…at least 2 in hands ,especially time stone. Avenger could have helped Hulk to harness its power and had a powerful combat with Thanos……both fooling and defeating him. That would have been a visual treat…! Only captain America and Ironman scored in Endgame…. Avengers Script was average..!!!!

No it isn't. The directors wanted to show what kind of threat Avengers were dealing with. This was the perfect way to show audience how op Thanos is. Also Hulk has been fighting for like 10 years only (Banner is a human afterall) whereas Thanos is warrior since 1000s of years. Destroyer of Worlds. Hulk has power. Thanos has power plus strategy plus experience.

In the Ragnarok Battle, Hulk gets angrier with time. Here, he is taken by surprise which Thanos takes advantage of and effectively neutralises him. I fee this was a fair fight..
