Hulk Hogan Quits TNA Wrestling - DEADLOCK Podcast Retro Review
Ойын-сауық
That doesn’t work for me brother! Hulk Hogan’s TNA Impact Wrestling contract is almost up and he is going to re-sign with the company, or maybe not dude! This is the final episode of Impact Wrestling that Hulk Hogan is on. He has 100% creative control in his contract and it shows here. The show ends with Dixie Carter begging The Hulkster to stay after he quits. Also, AJ Styles contract is legit expired and he has yet to come to terms on a new deal. We know how this all plays out in the long run, but before then he is going to face Bully Ray at Bound For Glory 2013 for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Magnus, a Main Event Mafia member, is feuding with Daniels, Kazarian, and Bobby Roode of EGO. He throws down the challenge and fights all of them in a gauntlet match. After the match Sting says he is going to “MAKE” Magnus at Bound For Glory. Dixie Carter continues her “Reign of Terror” as on screen owner of TNA Impact Wrestling.

Seeing Dixie literally dragged by Hogan was so embarrassing to watch. I can't believe that that was good to air...

Hogan had full creative control. They had to do it his way or hit could just leave and they still have to pay him and get nothing.

Honestly nothing was preferable to this. Do it WWE style, make Hogan sit at home and wait it out. Memory hole him and don’t mention Hogan on TV. Then do an angle if you need too
@phayroent9742

@@Johnoftheuchiha you are making the assumption that TNA could afford that. They could not. No Hogan means no footage means nothing to air means no revenue means likely losing another TV deal.

Well with all due respect would you let Hogan leave without any resistance?

Dixie holding onto Hogan's leg like a little kid is Dixie Carter's defining legacy in one image.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say there, Brother. Hulkamania's the antidote to the Wrestling Industry, dude. Or maybe not, Brother, it really depends on how much they pay me!

God, Hogan saying "Let the Games Begin" and Jawnny instantly making a SAW reference just gave him the visual of Billy The Puppet with a Hogan bandana telling a victim about this elaborate torture trap only to go "Or you might not have to do any of that, dude? I could just let you go right now."

@@Ludakolo All you have to do to prove that you appreciate your life is watch all three episodes of the XWF without saying how dog-shit it is. Although if it is dog-shit, just know that the Hulkster had nothing to do with it, I even told Jimmy Hart and Brian Knobbs that it was a bad idea. But if you liked it, then it was 100% my idea, dude.

Arguably up there for Deadlock Podcast hardest laughs AND Tony's funniest moments.
It makes so much sense now that Hulk Hogan creatively controlled his own TNA exit angle. How did I not realize that back when it first aired?

One of the craziest visuals for a thumbnail.
28:30 they used to bill Bound for Glory as the biggest PPV of the year for them. Then they tried to, uh, switch it? Not sure what happened but on my 2005 Bound for Glory DVD, during the pre-show X-Division match they call BFG their big event.

How the hell did they keep going with Jeff and Sting when AJ and Joe are right there goddammit. They should be your emergency buttons, they’re still going wild today.

1:21:35 Now I need a crossover with WrestlingBios and the bois. Thanks for putting that in my brain, Jawnny.
So a little on the JR thing. He said on his podcast that he met with the Carters at their ranch around this time to discuss him coming to TNA. This was not just for commentary but also for an administrative role like he had in WWE previously. He wanted a free hand over hiring and firing, which they wouldn't or couldn't give him, so it didnt end up happening. He says he likes the Carters and they treated him well. It's ridiculous he got the heat for the Flair thing but I also have sympathy for Flair. He'd lost his son a few months previously and was obviously still in a very bad place. Should not have been in that position. 2K had absolutely no problem with any of it.
Lifes been rough for me lately, having many family members being ill or in bad shape, but you guys turn my smile upside down. If there is a way to reccomend an episode to watch, how about the Raw that the Usos caught the Revival shaving in the shower, it was funny but cursed. Also I was there.

It seems like everyone has a story of hulk Hogan and it's never really a good one lol but thanks guys for finding a way to make this very entertaining you guys are the best from watching you guys play video games to reviewing shows truly a big part of my childhood love you guys
I can’t believe I get to catch a deadlock the day it gets uploaded, or maybe I can believe it brother, it could go either way.
The Tony Khan impressions had me crying.😂😂😂
This was one of the last episodes I watched as if aired of TNA and even being a kid still at the time I knew the good times was over
Oh we know the boys are ready for this one.
That dont work for me brotha.
“ aye keep that to yourself next time buddy “ 😭😭😭
WE NEED RETRO SYNC SOON BROTHER
I was at this show in little rock AR lol they moved all of us to camera side to make it look bigger but it was a big arena
This was the last TNA episode I watched until the Broken Hardy stuff. I didn’t even hate TNA at the time I just felt sad looking at what it had become
The list of Hogan shenagins is so long that I'm actually more surprised Vince got him to take a pin from Yokozuna when he was leaving than I am when I hear that he managed to pull stuff like this off.
I was just watching this episode of impact Wrestling a few months ago can't believe this happened 11-years ago it's really been that long lol time flies dixie carter grabbing his leg still makes me laugh 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It will never not be hilarious to me that there are so many people that think this is just a KZread channel lol

Aka the show that had the biggest plot twist ever: Hulk Hogan doesn't always lie and the storyline sometimes works for him. And the episode where TNA fans pulled a Braveheart and yelled FREEDOM
LETS FUCKING GO
Hulk couldn’t expect he can’t wrestle and book so he try and didn’t draw nothing his time has gone just get out of wrestling it’s better without you brother hulk ego is bigger then wrestling he thinks wrestling needs him well new age new time just be happy you had your run 🏃
I love whenever bad bookers book a storyline telling us the product is bad to try and say "we know, just keep watching" Here for TNA and once again in 2017-2019 RAW. Everyday i thank god Vince is gone from WWE.
As long as Tony Khan doesn't beg someone's feet to stay before they quit on national television, he will at least be above Dixie Carter in terms of owners.
Truly, Impact did not work for Hogan........... brother
So.. I always loved the Hellevator Will say I had never seen Goto hit his and… well yeah Matt Morgan is cooked Goto hitting it sounds like a gunshot 💀

It’s about time they finally apologized
It was better than what WWE was putting on at the time. 2010 might be one of the worst years ever for wrestling lmao
I swear im the only person that thinks Magnus wasn't THAT bad.
STONE COLD RAY LLOYD
Matt Morgan never looked like a big guy to me. He needed some upper body attire like wristbands or something. Also he had a weird shaped body. His torso was so long and legs so skinny.
Aew is my new fix wwe well that’s me I’ll still watch but it’s dead to me
Also little rock crowds are always ass even for WWE it sucks except when rock came to town
I think Eric bischoff more worst than Hogan was during this time
Tony Kahn is Mickey Mouse. That is confirmed.
All this time and Johnny still can't afford a camera. 😅

What's the deal with the uploads to this channel? Everything on it is stuff that has already been uploaded other places, with clips for context. It throws me off every time I see a "new" upload and then realize it's content I watched ages ago in a better format.

We do a podcast every week. We upload the videos to Patreon. When we upload the podcast to KZread it’s a bit delayed from the actual podcast. On Patreon we do have retro syncs with real footage. If you are seeing other uploads of these videos with clips, those are fan made.
