Hulk Hogan Quits TNA Wrestling - DEADLOCK Podcast Retro Review

Ойын-сауық

That doesn’t work for me brother! Hulk Hogan’s TNA Impact Wrestling contract is almost up and he is going to re-sign with the company, or maybe not dude! This is the final episode of Impact Wrestling that Hulk Hogan is on. He has 100% creative control in his contract and it shows here. The show ends with Dixie Carter begging The Hulkster to stay after he quits. Also, AJ Styles contract is legit expired and he has yet to come to terms on a new deal. We know how this all plays out in the long run, but before then he is going to face Bully Ray at Bound For Glory 2013 for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Magnus, a Main Event Mafia member, is feuding with Daniels, Kazarian, and Bobby Roode of EGO. He throws down the challenge and fights all of them in a gauntlet match. After the match Sting says he is going to “MAKE” Magnus at Bound For Glory. Dixie Carter continues her “Reign of Terror” as on screen owner of TNA Impact Wrestling.

Seeing Dixie literally dragged by Hogan was so embarrassing to watch. I can't believe that that was good to air...

Hogan had full creative control. They had to do it his way or hit could just leave and they still have to pay him and get nothing.

Honestly nothing was preferable to this. Do it WWE style, make Hogan sit at home and wait it out. Memory hole him and don’t mention Hogan on TV. Then do an angle if you need too

@@Johnoftheuchiha you are making the assumption that TNA could afford that. They could not. No Hogan means no footage means nothing to air means no revenue means likely losing another TV deal.

God, Hogan saying "Let the Games Begin" and Jawnny instantly making a SAW reference just gave him the visual of Billy The Puppet with a Hogan bandana telling a victim about this elaborate torture trap only to go "Or you might not have to do any of that, dude? I could just let you go right now."

@@Ludakolo All you have to do to prove that you appreciate your life is watch all three episodes of the XWF without saying how dog-shit it is. Although if it is dog-shit, just know that the Hulkster had nothing to do with it, I even told Jimmy Hart and Brian Knobbs that it was a bad idea. But if you liked it, then it was 100% my idea, dude.

So a little on the JR thing. He said on his podcast that he met with the Carters at their ranch around this time to discuss him coming to TNA. This was not just for commentary but also for an administrative role like he had in WWE previously. He wanted a free hand over hiring and firing, which they wouldn't or couldn't give him, so it didnt end up happening. He says he likes the Carters and they treated him well. It's ridiculous he got the heat for the Flair thing but I also have sympathy for Flair. He'd lost his son a few months previously and was obviously still in a very bad place. Should not have been in that position. 2K had absolutely no problem with any of it.
