To be fair, he doesn't really know the limits of the hulk. This hulk has been injured by bullets before and David can't really measure it's strength or durability. Any one of the situations he ends up in could be fatal for all he knows
When I was a kid and saw the first trailer I was glued to the TV screen and memorized the time and day when it first aired. I told my parents who looked at me as a failure to society and almost sent me to my room with punishment. Then I waited after school for the 1st episode to appear and my parents were both astonished at what we were watching. This was something so new and so different we all sat together and watched every episode. My mom made tea 🍵 for all of us. I'm now old and miss every moment in time today with people who want kill me or die from the pandemic. I'm sad 😢.

Actually he can hold more than that and the angrier he gets the stronger he becomes , and acording to the og source the comics when he became world breaker hulk he was powerfull enought to destroy planets, Also note that Hulk has many personalities the most common being savage Hulk and devil hulk ( evil hulk ) wich is even stronger than savage hulk yet only slightly less powerfull than world braker hulk theres also joe fixit with a gangster like persona and the most cunning one called Maestro, and professor hulk is the union of hulks mind and banners , besides even if hulk somehow dies he can regenerate and revive as gamma is the power of a hellish dimension when he dies he does so only briefly coming back even more pissed off than before but he does have limits if he becomes way to angry and takes more damage than he can take he will revert to banner.
The "Hulk Outs" definitely got more suspenseful as the show went on. This one was so-so. What a difference the crescendoing, pulsating music makes.

My Favorite Martian
What I like most about the hulk tv series, is that it's a more believable version of him if he really existed in real life
This show will forever be legendary and Bill Bixby and Lou ferrigno always did a good job in every episode. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017 to find me.

What I liked about this episode was that it added mystery to it because in the beginning of the episode Dr Banner is wondering what happened & what’s going on

IIRC, and IMDB backs me up, this episode coincides with the first season of WKRP. I distinctly remember being surprised that the Hulk series could nab a big-time guest star as Loni Anderson. Of course, they were both on CBS.

That's peanuts!! When I was a kid, I would get more afraid of The Incredible Hulk if any episode was sponsored by General Electric, and I had to see the logo stand alone! At the time, I was deathly afraid that I would've gotten zapped into the TV screen and got tossed around like a ragdoll by the Hulk himself!! Not anymore!!

I'd like to see the hulk take on that gremlin who tried to crash the plane in Twilight Zone in a crossover. David notices it bashing at the fairing and out of frustration at not being believed he becomes the hulk and walks on the wing and intimidates the lizard into leaping away. I got the idea after seeing the gun!

I can't believe how rough this early episode was. Hulk's hands aren't inked green at 6:53 and he actually strains to throw the man free. The growls sound like a an angry chihuahua. All those things, but the series got better.

If you want to teach confidence.... recommend watching these series to any adult who has doubts about his/her dreams... i am amazed that someone actually went thru and produced this.... so brave... with such primitive effects ... n got it to work then.... n to see how it has evolved in the hulk we know today.
