I saw him in Glasgow - I just kept thinking about the venue staff! Like, if you work at a venue, you might not google every single act, right? Oh, there's another concert, fine, third one this week, I'm not too bothered. But imagine not having a clue who Käärijä is, googling and finding out he's a Finnish rapper, and then not expecting a big crowd, and then all of us lunatics turning up in green knitted boleros, shouting along to our best approximation of Finnish, moshing our little souls out...! I fucking love it, of course, but I just imagine the uninitiated people who avoid ESC being a bit confused 😂

Definitely, and seeing the maniacs (I was one of them) queueing for 9+ hours outside the venue lol. The Roundhouse was thankfully very accommodating and let us use their toilets & café while we were waiting 😂 Honestly waiting in the queue for that long (even though it was cold as hell) was definitely a good part of the experience, especially being near the front of it. Everyone was just chilling & having the best time they could in the queue

I have been wondering the same! 😆 And even if they knew the place is sold out and going to be packed, and they would know him from Eurovision or google him and see that is the case, would they be expecting something like "oh yeah that is the funny cha cha guy with the green bolero and funny dance moves", and then all this madness is rolling up to the stage and them being blown away like "what in the world is this" 😆

@@Sinivalkoseepra-yz1ke or expecting the very same ESC crowd, like people who are interested in all of the ESC acts - wearing their own flags, only showing general appreciation... Not this hoarde of hardcore fans! I can't wait until Rammstein are opening for Käärijä - give it a couple of years 😅

The singing kept going, so technically no, but some of the angles on it are ambiguous! Haha People on the Discord were joking "Jukka wanted MORE" 😂

@@mintygrey okay i was just on tiktok and i saw a recording that i believe is from this show, the poster confirmed it was recorded in london and the movements match up, and they definitely kissed in that one.
