I'm just a casual listener of Le sserafim but it breaks my heart to see all the hate, harassment and bullying they're receiving. I'm thankful that Yunjin was able to create this song as a reminder for us that idols are humans too just like us. We demand them to such high standards that I'm pretty sure we can't even achieve ourselves. The pressure that they have to go through to become perfect singers, perfect dancers, perfect rappers, perfect performers with perfect personalities, flawless beauty just so as to be worthy to be called "idols". It's so easy for us to bully/hate/harass them online while we conveniently hide behind "anonymity" yet act surprised/worried when idols take hiatus or worse, commit sui**de. We pick and choose their imperfections then crucify them like they just committed such a heinous crime. The constant pressure for them to bring revenue to their companies, the struggle to have creative freedom over their crafts, the limitation to express their thoughts and opinions so as not to offend others, the sacrifices just to maintain their body image, the endurance to keep smiling despite all the hate & criticisms, going through all that but also trying not to lose themselves in the process. I just hope we be kinder and more empathetic to all idols, especially female idols. Idols are not our dolls. We don't get to demand or even tell them what they can or cannot do. We don't own them. To Le sserafim, I hope you all feel the love of the real people around you. You all can overcome this. I hope you can learn and improve at your own pace. All of you are unique and special. You are all amazing and I look forward to seeing more music & performances from you. I'll keep cheering on you girls!

I don’t usually listen to Le sserafim because their songs are not really my type but… this song, it truly doubled, tripled my respect for Le sserafim and Yunjin. Changing the industry is nearly impossible, and no when she said that she's gonna change the industry, that was just a persona, she's trying to convey a message to spread which will somewhat help make atleast a SMALL change in the industry. A female idol finally speaking out? YES! In all my years of being a Kpop stan, this is exactly what I've been waiting for. I'm just really really happy to see this. Completely raw emotions and the truth- not sugarcoated words along with the braveness to speak out not being afraid of backlash from a misogynistic community. This is perfection. A 4th gen idol speaking out on the hardships of being an idol with raw emotions and not a fake cheeriness or feigning a state of being fine. Yes. We're slowly but eventually getting to the point where fans learn that idols are humans with emotions too, not dolls. Thank you for this, Yunjin. This was much needed. Lots of love and success to you :))

I hope she inspires many to speak out after her. I can't imagine how hard it must be for all of these girls in such a brutal industry, and to worry about immesnse backlash at even the stupidest thing. It's incredibly brave and I hope she can inspire the hearts of many going through similar situation as her. I hope we all learn to be kind instead of criticizing, because like Yunjin said: "go idolize your idle life, your daily routine is pathetic anyways".

I like how Hybe let Yunjin do what she wants. this song has a deep lyrics that most of the Kpop companies would refuse to release. They gave her the opportunity of showing her talent and the dark side of Kpop. This is not just a song, it's the TRUE FEELINGS OF A KPOP IDOL. Yunjin said she would change the Kpop industry and she is doing it.

I agree. I like the lyrics cause idols are humans, they deserve to be treated equally with any other humans and idols are not dolls, they have feelings too.

I hope this song gets the recognition it deserves. It points out all the thoughts, feelings and emotions of every idol who experienced this kind of criticism when all they ever do and want was to give people happiness by entertaining them through their music. It's too deep for me.

Those lyrics are so precious yunjin really came to change the idol industry and i am ready for this she's so sweet she's so pretty she's the moment man haters go touch some grass

from memory, in 12 years at following Korean idols, I haven't heard such a bold statement against the industry's dystopian beauty standards since at least 2NE1's Ugly. Props to you, Huh Yunjin.

industry's dystopian beauty standards ? The world is not fair, and pretty people have it easier than others. I guess people being attracted to pretty people is wrong lol. Everyone likes attractive guys or girls. The reason why you see kpop like this is because of its tough competition. You have too much supply and only the top groups dominants most of the demands. You would observe a less "industry's dystopian beauty standards" when the industry itself isnt as competitive. This is just natural. Because everyone wants to get a head start, and being pretty is your golden ticket to success in society let alone the kpop industry.
