Ойын-сауық

Hugh Ross is one smart astronomer. In this rather deep episode of I went Camping Dr. Ross takes us back millions of years to walk us through what he believes is the case for how God and #evolution can coexist as being true.

What fine tuning? Not sure what he's on about. Where's the fine tuning that made it take 6 mass extinctions for us to be here? Suppose lizard people evolved instead of humans, they could say the same thing too, and they might be pondering the whole god thing.

Ive seen this before. Watches 30 seconds of video, recognizes threat to personal worldview, gets triggered, makes irrelevant criticism, allows ego and arrogance to convince self that opposing worldview is debunked, continues life believing we are all randomly assembled masses of meaningless matter to avoid personal and moral accountability.

Apologies, it seemed to me by your comment that you didnt make a genuine attempt to watch and understand the entire video before putting forth familiar challenges. I frequently see anti-theistic folks making low brow, low class attacks on people of faith under the dehumanizing presupposition that anybody who doesnt share their worldview is a simpleton. I recognize this, because I used to be guilty of the same. I led my classes and aced evolution and O-chem and was quite skilled working in the genetics lab, but the more adept I became in my profession, the more hurdles/assumptions I came to realize were necessary for my atheistic worldview to be validated. The Lizard people thing, which is admittedly kinda funny and a little bit interesting. Perhaps in an altermate dimension lizard people are debating theism. Still, if you dont watch the whole video with an open heart and mind, the questions you have and any argument/discussion we have will almost certainly devolve into theistic or antitheistic dogma. Also I concede that perhaps points I claim to be addressed by Ross in this video, may actually be addressed in another of his videos I recently viewed. I can get confused. Lastly, being that you are in the comment section of a brilliant Christian Apologist's video, your are clearly looking for answers. Rather than have a shootout in the comment sectios, I'd encourage you to watch more videos of Ross's, listen to Dawkins, Lennox, Hitchens, Turek. They are all so much smarter than me. I Hope you find what you are looking for. Cheers.

Ordovician-Silurian extinction event Late Devonian extinction Permian-Triassic extinction event Triassic-Jurassic extinction event Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event Holocene extinction If the universe was any smaller, it would not have rocky planets anywhere in the universe. If the universe was any large, it would all be black holes and no rocky planets. Here are just a few, there are many more: Ultraviolet habitable Photosynthetic habitable zone: Planet rotation rate habitable zone Tidal habitable zone. Astrosphere habitable zone: Atmosphere electric field habitable zone Orbital eccentricity habitable zone Coupled planet-moon - Magnetosphere habitable zone: Pressure-dependent habitable zone: Milankovitch cycle Carbon dioxide habitable zone Carbon monoxide habitable zone: Galactic habitable zone Biblical Hebrew a small vocabulary than English. In biblical Hebrew, there is no word for universe. Instead, the Hebrew phrase that is translated “the heavens and the earth” is used to refer to the universe-the entirety of physical reality. The phrase is used thirteen times in the Old Testament, always referring to all matter, energy, space, and time the universe. We now know that event was 13.787 ±0.020 billion years. This has been checked, proven and measured with many tools and they all agree. It is not just space that came to be 13.787 billion years ago, but time also. The universe is finite and expanding. Just as the Bible stated thousands of years ago. To deny the existence of a Creator is an error.

belief in any god is willingly entering into slavery. Giving up you right to chose your path in life and control your destiny for the will of some imaginary deity.

Yet I guarantee that you center your life around something, whether it’s work, a hobby, we will always, always, as humans, worship something. I follow Christ willingly and happily. Most people that call me names like “slave” have no idea who Christ really is.
