Hugh Grant's wife may not like his romantic comedies but they saved my life. Nottinghill, when I am sad and lonely (and missing my exwife), reminds me of how it can be. It doesn't matter that it's fantasy because it matches what I once had. Thanks Hugh and his wife.

Hugh's still gorgeous but he's also real. Those who believe plastic surgery improves looks couldn't be more wrong.

You're right. He's like fine wine. I was never a huge fan during his Four Weddings phase, but the older he gets the more i like him. The man is ridiculously witty, entertaining and charming. And I love that he's taking risks with his work now.

@@auntyjo1792 to be fair Emma Thompson wrote the script with him in mind but with another actress in mind for her role. The studio then insisted she take the role herself. Thus making the pairing really awful although I think both roles work really well if you imagine another respective counterpart. I like them both individually but it just doesn't work this way. No fault to him, he has said before he was just made to play the same doofus over and over again and didn't resist enough since it made him famous and comfortable. I can enjoy both the doofus and his other roles.

Hugh Grant is a very interesting person, very well educated, intelligent , with a sharp mind and that come out in his intelligent sense of humor, good actor, dedicated to causes, full of energy and a very good looking man. Is a pleasure for mind and for eye to listen him always . 😉

The cinematography makes Hugh look like the Mummy but the series is a great showcase for him.

My wife has a strong distaste for my comedy, and my attempts at romance, so.. I feel ya.

Check out An awfully big adventure, he did that just before 4 Weddings but it was realised after, some fine acting in that, very dark film.
