Food for thought: Cut the interior pipe extension on angle so to maximize total pipe length into the exterior pipe. The angle allows the hood to maintain a constant clearance as it is closed over the interior pipe.

Your truck would look a whole lot better with dual stacks on it I think. But awesome job!!!!!

Bruce on your hot side intercooler hose either double clamp them but if you don’t have enough room for 2 clamps, you can just clean pipes good and spray them with hair spray where boot seals with clamp and clamp them down tight. It works for us.

To measure how much clearance you have with the hood closed before you put that piece on you can just put your GoPro underneath the hood and toward that exhaust and close the hood slowly.

I was wondering too with that being a fresh rebuilt motor I wonder if your supposed to do any kind of break in procedures alot of Cat equipment does and it tears them up if you dont. I would look into it.

I think your gearing was fine on the second hook but you need to let the turbo spool up more before you let out on the clutch it didnt start to come alive till you were already moving based on the sound of it so you didnt have the needed boost to get your rpms up early

It wouldn’t matter, the turbo is to small to have ti “get up on rpm’s”

I think you need to let the ol whistle machine spool up before dropping the hammer so quick.

Sounded a lot better than it used to. Now you just have to get a few more rpm's and the right gear...Nice pulls

Gotta get some motion raceworks clamps or the vibrant hd clamps and get rid of the boots. They can withstand a ton of boost and are way more flexible and easier to take apart.

Id run some planks from those ramps. That bumper was awful close to the floor when backing onto the trailer, dude. Sounds mint. Makes me think about the cat-powered 359 i saw on marketplace over here in the UK. Love these rigs. Shame i dont have a truck licence 😢 Edit to add. That issue with the coupler clamps coming loose. Would it help if the coupler was longer so the clamps can bite fown harder on the pipe as it barely looked on video like the pipe was going in to it
