I think the old pottery was from the taino natives that lived in the island 500 Year's ago and are generally found in Rivers and Rebuilding it from pieces it's real hard but they are really expensive. Also good video 😊

I hope you hit the beaches with your MineLab detector. I have found a hundred times more gold and silver( wedding rings and bracelets) on the beaches than all the wilderness prospecting I've done. I enjoyed this adventure; thanks for sharing.

I was in Puerto Rico when I was 18 in the national guard. We did our two-week training down there. We got a day and a half on the beach in San Juan and I spent the whole time eating street food, smoking hand-rolled cigars, and laying on the beach. I almost stepped on a sea urchin, that would not have been pleasant.

Thanks. Yeah it was surprisingly not bad at all. I was expecting devastation, mosquitoes, no cell service, no electricity (or minimal of the above) but everything seemed to work just fine. My Wifi was slow, but that's normal for anywhere. The only thing I really noticed were a few street lights out (outside of San Juan), and a few trails closed in El Yunque National Park for repairs from the hurricane.

I have been to PR so many times but never thought of panning for gold there but I was in the Navy when I was there

Well my search didn't go well so I will ask you out an out, did you come to Alaska yet. I live in Wasilla and am surrounded by mountain ranges. If you google Peterscreek Alaska, you will find it south side of the Denali range where tons of gold was mined and I found gold myself. There are a few but very few mines then. My grandson had a claim and his partner died before willing the claim to him so he lost all the equipment. He can take you straight away to gold as I can tell you where and how to find. I want you to find said gold and maybe share a nuget for the knowledge of said claim which are all legal for you to mine in a large way if you find enough amount... please respond
