Besides hooking fish big or small cooking fresh fish onboard has become a passion of mine. It was a secret weapon at Bermagui this year. As soon as l settled into the cabin to cook up lunch a rod would scream off. Marlin are so inconsiderate when it comes to things like that

Vortexing like that usually means breeding. Looks much like Tauraunga/ Bowentown Harbour again with Matakana Island and the Kaimai Ranges in backgrounds

I watch a lot of fishing shows, but your photography, commentary and fishing adventures are an absolute joy to watch for an old landlocked fisherman like me!

I can't help but smile watching these episodes .. you guys are so entertaining. Nato I'd be looking at sourcing or tying up some lightly weighted crab flies designed for a soft landing/slow sink for future missions I reckon.

You guys are insanely lucky in that harbour. The only fish I've ever seen in that harbour was a huge great white which breached in Anzac Bay. Always see and hear people catching fish in there but I've never even had a bite...

still remember the time u guys did the super shallow mangrove snapper sesh casting rod length fly n catching big snaps wen doing BAF, still one of my favs. all things sight casting is the best fishing. Nato on the roar n content on the way, cool.
