More than 15,000 homes and multiple vehicles were damaged by a hailstorm in Manipur.
State officials announced the closure of all schools and colleges due to the adverse weather conditions.
West Imphal district suffered the most damage, with ongoing assessments.
The hailstorm not only damaged buildings but also disrupted lives, with strong winds and hail wreaking havoc.
Relief efforts are underway to aid affected residents in coping with the aftermath.
